Jeezues gearbox. Its kinda not cool. If u farm agonizer 9k he gives u lvl57 normal gear. Only way to get it mayhem 10 is constantly do an exploit. Mess with your saves to respawn penn n teller at a story check point? This is nonsense.

Its been weeks too. Someones gotta get some kinda massive reddit post because it seems devs listen to reddit alot… I mean look at mayhem.

Wait so it’s Pain/Terror that drop it? That’s dumb.

However this is a problem with some loot in general being tied to enemies that don’t respawn or mission items. Like yea they need to sort out the m10 loot stuff, but I wouldn’t wrangle this into that. It seems like a different issue altogether.

Its because theyre killable mobs and will drop mayhem lvl gear. I think. Agonizer is some kinda… Chest loot.

They haven’t fixed Eista either. Can’t get a Skullmasher or Cocky Bastard at M10 level either. :dizzy_face:

Yea that doesn’t make sense. But then again they need to just have all vendors/chests scale to m10 anyway. I get they don’t want people to chest farm at m10 then go back down to lower mayhem levels but it’s like so what? Chests are completely at the mercy of world drops, the time it takes to farm even the easiest red chest for something good is way less efficient than just playing at a lower mayhem and getting something to drop.

Alternatively they could just make weapons auto-scale to the current mayhem, and they can only go as high as the highest mayhem they were acquired. So then chest farming at m10 becomes a bit of a moot point if the weapon isn’t going to be more powerful at m6, but if you found the weapon in m6 and go to m10 it would only be scaled to m6 because that’s where you got it.

Oh no theyre gonna get world drop m10 weapons from a chest which are all garbage at m10!

That’s the waste of it all. What are people gonna farm chests for, junk that isn’t viable anymore?

It’ll only stop people who play on low mayhem from getting M10 guns to use on the mayhem they play on, but those of us who play M10 have a plethora of stuff we can’t use that we can send them. :joy:

Fixing chest loot to scale with Mayhem level would require a patch.
