I had this weird feeling like the new Siren character would be the melee heavy one, as it just seemed like the nice intuitive way to take the Siren class.

So happy it turned out to be true.

Also those arms look amazing, and of course those abs. Kudos to her workout routine

Also did you notice the shock nova when her arms come out? Shock synergy with a slow down/daze effect could be really interesting for a melee synergy.

Also in some leaks they mentioned she will be like brick, so a tanky melee instead of the zer0.

Then there is that, I hope she has an attikus like pounce move.

I cannot wait for this to come out. My daughter, Gaige, is going on four and has really gotten into gaming these last few months. She needs to learn her namesake ;D

Those bots and hovering orbs we see right before Brick’s sax solo seem to have a Maliwan vibe/color scheme.

(edit: the big bots have an ‘M’ on their right shoulder and the guy in the background has an ‘M’ on his helmet, it appears. This looks like the furturistic city seen elsewhere and given that we saw a bunch of Maliwan signs and such also elsewhere, it looks like the VHs have a mission raiding War Hippie HQ. :wink: )

Originally had to play as Zer0 until the Krieg release, I prefer tanky over Sneaky, so I am happy to see that the original melee character (possibly) is more of the latter.

Can’t wait for the BAR and Skill References.

Stuff like;

“Do you even Phase bro?” For a BAR about using your skill.

Or a skill like; ‘Glorious Gainz.’

I’m with xmngr on this. This character is tall enough and ripped enough. and since he has robo arms it could certainly change the proflie from Krieg’s original frame. The collar could be something that shots the voices out in his head. Who knows?

After careful consideration. I have come to a conclusion, that I think can be considered to be canonical.

And I am going on the record as saying this;

Clearly a reference to Sexy Sax Man, not Epic Sax Guy.

Sexy Sax Man has a moustache, Epic Sax Guy does not. Brick in the sax solo does have a moustache, which is peculiarly missing when he is with Tina and Mordecai.

COINCIDENCE?!

Also he is doing the Sexy Sax Guy knee bend, instead of the Epic Sax Guy hip thrust.

I should REALLY get back to work.

Thanks! I was so smitten by the character’s personality that I had to name my daughter the same in hopes that a bit of it interlaces with her. My sincerest hopes that she too becomes a bubbly little maniac.

Be careful if you buy her Lego sets, you never know what she might build :wink:

There was also what looked like a black psycho, nice to see more diversity in enemies

Amara

  1. immortal, imperishable.
  2. a god or celestial being; the number 33 (as there were originally 33 main deities in the Vedas)
  3. a marut (Hv. Pur.); a name for the Rudrākşa Tree (Elaeocarpus Ganitrus).

She also takes on the form of the Hindu deity Kali - by the looks of it.

I hope so! That will be a great mechanic for melee builds.

This might be a stretch, but could the child be Athena from a flashback?
