To confirm: UCP is indeed only available on PC due to fewer restrictions on that platform. Sony/Microsoft (and therefore Gearbox) regard any third party software to breach console terms of service.
So it’s a no no.

Thanks @Psychichazard.
Those builds are fairly identical in terms of how your Siren is going to play… the point differences are pretty slight, so there’s some room for deviation that you may find entertaining.
Do you like Sustenance? I’m with @hattieinduni… don’t care much for it, but that may be because Life Tap is insane, and if I’m that far down that tree, I’m generally going for Scorn. That’ll be a different build recommendation.
I’m also not a fan of Immolate myself, but assuming you want to keep that (many people seem to like it), consider this for a Thoughtlock build. If you’re open to carrying whatever equipment you like without restrictions, get your favorite singularity grenade on deck, and when you approach a mob, throw the grenade somewhere in the center where it can grab enemies and pull them out from behind cover if need be. As soon as they’re pulled in, immediately Thoughtlock the enemy nearest the center of that mob so Converge can draw them in even closer. Kill the Thoughtlocked guy, and Sub Sequence will be able to acquire a nearby target quickly, regrouping and slagging them yet again, and off you go. I enjoy targeting whatever is Thoughtlocked at the moment to re-trigger Converge (keep that group under control), Ruin (keep 'em slagged), and Helios (because fire), but you can always throw a rocket into the crowd and just end it.
This might sound insane, but I might recommend skipping a point in Cloud Kill? My favorite aspect of this build is watching a mob get tossed around by Converge and Sub Sequence. If you have Cloud Kill up in the center of that mob, it’s very likely to die prematurely. You can make that call however you see fit.
If the mob has a particularly large enemy in its ranks, I might Thoughtlock that, and let it hammer the smaller guys out for me while I spray them with gunfire. Chain Reaction will work everything over, but with the big guy Thoughtlocked, he’ll tank through the Chain Reaction longer than the smaller enemies, keeping Chain Reaction (and Elated + Wreck for that matter) up longer.
For novel weapons, consider a Logan’s Gun with this build. Few people use it for combat, but with a Thoughtlocked crowd, aim shots for the center of the mob (where Converge should be re-triggering and gathering them). You don’t need to be accurate; just aim for the ground where that center is. If enemies are in the way, it doesn’t matter - shots will penetrate enemies for a little damage, and the round will either hit another enemy for a detonation there, or hit the ground and detonate there. As a dedicated fire weapon, you’re looking at flesh-based enemies for this. Here’s a couple examples in slow motion:
I find this is much easier from a high vantage point:
Case in point: I miss the center of the mob here a couple times because it’s harder to find and hit the center at this low angle:
Yeh i know the builds are kinda the same… i just had difficulties trying other builds cus im afraid of change.
I used cloudkill cus i always have corrosive bone with me. And life tab is one i always wanted to try but since my partner don’t want me to kill stuff i choose sustenance. Kinda got used to alway regenerate health so i always choose it.
But it seems like i have to let go… farewell sustenance…
Like the build and the explanation you gave! Gonna try thoughtlock for a change.
Thoughtlock is fantastic. I love it in any circle of slaughter. It confuses non-Maya players a lot though
Last night I ran Thoughtlock Maya through the Peak ( OP8 ) again. It’s really perfect there. Everything went smooth as glass until Reeth and a bunch of turrets spawned just as my puppy came running in and jumped up on my lap. Run failed
Forgot : I had moved any available points into Backdraft. Unfortunately I only have high capacity shields, so I farmed a Pun-Chee with Tediore parts. I look forward to trying that out tonight.
You can do almost anything with maya. Shes very verstile, and amazing at mobbing and crowd control. You can make any weapon builds with her too.
They’re not mutually exclusive. I consider both to be more important than Mind’s Eye. As I recall, ME is a type A crit bonus, and ME is boosted by both the Leg. Siren and Leg. Cat so much of the time it’s still at 6/5. My standard Maya - obviously I’m not on the Thoughtlock bandwagon.
If I knew how broken CK is back when I was leveling my Maya, I would very likely have done that.
On the other hand, an OP skill for a first(ish) character did make sense too.
I’m quite fond of the Logan’s Gun, though I haven’t used it with Maya. That’s a good use case for it though, I’ll have to remember that if I ever try a Thoughtlock build.
You could be getting bored because you aren’t killing anything…that sounds really boring to just support a gunzerker… Get some sort of normal Maya build and join in!
Ye i agree… playing like that was not much fun… But we used it to past the OP levels and it worked
Normaly i use cat but like metioned earlier, the builds are pretty similar. That was the reason for the post. I really had to escape my old build and gameplay but i couldn’t come up with good ideas. This post brought me plenty so im happy with that
