The PvP reminds me a bit of a MOBA game, with minions and tower like structures. That’s actually what got me into the PvP a lot. My only thing is the Story mode. It seems very guided, and considering that you play one of the many heroes in the game there is little space or time to explore ESPECIALLY in matchmaking. If they are going for a guided story then that’s fine. But considering how gearbox made Borderlands/Borderlands 2, people are thinking this is going to be similar.
All in all, my opinion:
-PvP is awesome and I can play that all day. Competitively or just for fun. And NO I do not think there should be a pre-set for Helix. Skills are pretty diverse except for some that are just Quality of Life changes(ie. double jump)
-PvE is awkward at times especially when people rush through the level.
In-game chat is not working I assume for Xbox One? I have yet to hear anyone since the day the test started.
Question: Do you feel as if the game is too diverse? When I play the game I actually don’t know what to call the type of game it is. Its not just a MOBA, or a FPS, or an FPSRPG. Me and My wife both got the technical test and she is not into MOBAS but that’s not what steered her away. She stated that the game play is very fast paced, but some of the flashes on the screen from skills/enemies along with a crap ton of things happening at once in story mode(along with unorganized team) turned her off from it. This goes the same for Borderlands but the shell-shading helped(her second favorite game). And this is coming from someone who religiously plays Call of Duty.
