Someone please explain

So I’ll be totally honest and say that from my perspective this confused me also. I fired off the ultimate, it landed, there seemed to be a 1 second pause where I didn’t do anything else, then you died with it coming up on my screen as the KO.

It seemed odd at the time but I wasn’t going to query it

It was clearly my plot armour because I should never have been able to kill Hellyeah. Honestly, seeing this from your perspective is incredible, I couldn’t believe you were hitting me that much.

I was definitely not level 10 until after that kill, (this was my initial thought as to how it happened).

Sorry about the taunt, probably rubbed salt in the wounds on a bullsh*t death!

Not just a “taunt”, but a benedict taunt which is like the power of 5 taunts in one.

Sadly not aa good, but it’s something!

I saved the “race” in its entirety, the death above is shown at 0:41

Yep, I was. Tested this as well so I can confirm this is correct. Since when, and more importantly, WHY is this a thing? Oh well. Just shows how much gbx can balance.

Your point?

So you always take damage from that when its fired point blank? You’d think it would say something about that in the helix description.

Apparently so.

Benedict removes a pipe from his beak and stares at the camera, bemused.

Ah yes. That there is what we in “the business” like to refer to as a “taunt.” It is generally used to express how glorious one’s ass is when compared to the ass that has just been kicked. The “assee” if you will. More information about this specific taunt and other insults can be found in my book, “The Art of the Taunt.” Which ya can purchase online at the Hawk-Eyed Shopper for just 5 credits. I know what yer thinkin’… shouldn’t it be more? The answer? Of course. It’s on sale for a limited time only, y’all. Buy two.

Holds a flipper-full of credits out to Benedict.

All of the taunts are flipper-compatible and flightless-friendly, right?

I had tried other Taunt retailers in the past but they just never did it for me!
Consider me a satisfied customer! I will be telling all my friends, 5 stars.

We do cover flipper taunts yes. Everything from flipping off to flippancy is covered.

Hands Toby a book.

Opens “The Art of the Taunt” to chapter 18: “Finisci-Friendly Flip-Offs”, and reads it silently for a while with a look of surprised wonder. Procures a glove from seemingly nowhere, places it on right flipper, and bends back all the fingers on it but the middle one.

Woooow… Mind. Blown.

What even is this thread?

Those descriptions lie all the time, just look at Time Killer.

Or Firestorm, Napalm, Fire Walk, Refined Technique, or Concentrated Frags.

Or the hundred other helixes with incomplete or inaccurate descriptions.

Looks like you were (wait for it)

Bindle boozled  Asking for a friend!

Also just gonna say the word ISIC so I know you’ll see my fabulous pun

Umm… ok, ISIC is not a word. It’s a name.

Meh, you saw the pun and thus my goal was reached

Actually I completely ignored it since the name ISIC was included in there and thus deemed that sentence the only important part :smirk:

ISIC is also an acronym,
Immediate
Superior
In
Charge
