Matchmaking on PS4 has slowed down / gotten a lot sketchier this past week, it seems…

I havent had much time to play this week due to the first round of big assignments being due for my college, well, before this afternoon (Friday September 30), but, every time I have had a few spare hour of 2 to play (including today), it has been an extra 5-10 minutes waiting time per match and VERY rarely will I get matched up with other 100s, despite the fact that the OTHER teams will quite consistently be 5 100, commonly mic’d.

Frustrating!

How have you guys been finding it?

Idk about the waiting but if you don’t know quick match has no matchmaking implemented. It’s been great for me though

Honestly I noticed that too. But in my delusional little mad mind, I said, “hey maybe no one is on”. Then I get a match and it gets stuck on finding team

Australia prime time, PS4, was a graveyard on Friday. I hadn’t played in a week, so I don’t know how sudden the decline is. :frowning:

I gotta say I’ve noticed a ton of new players lately. Like I’ve been coming across a LOT. Hopefully this means the playerbase is increasing at least on XB1! As far as your situation goes… I haven’t experienced any lull in matchmaking on XB1.

PS4 player here. It’s been about the same for me for the past month. Matchmaking might take a minute longer from time to time, but otherwise it’s fine. PvE takes forever though…

This sounds like my common experience on XB1 here in Australia during the week when I did still play.

I haven’t noticed much of a difference. It feels just like it does when there is not an event going on. When there is an event, things speed up, maybe since the last 2 weekends they have had events it seemed like its quicker

On xbox one I have noticed that it takes a while to find a match for PVP at least 3-5 minutes but for PVE I can find a match quicker then I can snap my fingers (except in advanced but still takes less time then pvp)

I’ve been getting new players every other match. I actually bodyblocked my own Reyna so a Thorn could get away. It was her first game and it was 496 points on meltdown. It was a total stomp but I never chased kills and only attacked them when they attacked a teammate or me (jk I was Mellka no noob can touch me fool)

Matchmaking has gotten worse in PC-land as well. Can’t find matches after waiting for 20 minutes.

A lot of the problem stems from not having a premade group. If you come in with a 5-man group, there’s a better chance you’ll get matched up with one of the other two or three 5-man groups in the queue. Usually, the team I’m on ends up playing the same Japanese guys multiple times in a row.

However, if you go in solo, or in a small group, it seems nigh-impossible to get a complete 5-man group to form.

It’s rough.
