Split screen is working fantastic, at least from the one match I played with my roommate! Problem is, the left 1/3 of the screen is black, along with the Map (which is fine)
Can we have an option to make this smaller, please? I’m fine with the map, but those few extra inches of real estate would really help. Thanks

I 100% agree with this. I feel that the map taking up about a 1/4 of the screen made it much harder to play. I also didn’t use the map enough to warrant it taking up this much space. If we could make this area smaller and or have an option to use a button to pull up a detailed map (like borderlands) that would be great. I really love this game but I find the map being so large to be problematic.
Agreed, hopefully they can just make it transparent or smaller. If they did it on Borderlands surely they can do it now.
I agree, it’s a good idea but the stuff on the left is too big. Me and my brother found it hard to read all the info on the helix system quickly - it’s all too small and seems a waste when so much of the screen isn’t used. However, I do like having the boss health on the left, it made it easy for us both to keep tabs on how well we’re doing.
Throw my 2cents in as well. My tv is large enough that i’m fine, but my wife and daughter miss out on things farther away (snipers and such). I would prefer like a quick toggle to bring it over the HuD, kind of gow helix and items are done.
I agree that it feels weird. In my opinion ratio of each screen would be actually fine, if only not both of them were moved to the right. I think it would be best if player 1’s screen was moved to the left instead. Or, if for some reason both have to be in the middle, player 1’s map could be moved to the left margin and player 2’s map could be moved to the right margin.
I’d love to see both screens taking whole width of TV, but I’m affraid this is where it hits technical stuff, like resolution and optimalisation. Except for weird looks, split screen works very fine on PS4.
Please give us vertical split screen and semi transparent maps. That alone would nudge my wife and I to buy it. Thank you
