Itās has been so long since that game and weāve played on multiple occassions since then and I have not once taunted you since that game. On top of how I feel about taunting, many people know that I donāt hold ā ā ā ā against people for very long (unless youāre like Specialdragoon who continues to abuse the leave mid-game technique to deny experience points for kicking his ass).
If itās in a game and I am taunted itās most certainly a statement in my mind, but not so much as to hold it against someone for the rest of my Battleborn career (unless youāre the aformentioned SpecialDragoonJ).
My borderline for gaming,all around, is this; be respectful of your fellow gamerās skill level, remain humble, play your best and donāt engage in cheap tactics (not everyone follows how I play and I know that). I find taunting disrespectful. If Iām taunted, I take it as that individual doesnāt take me seriously. So I need to play and show them I need to be taken seriously; so compensating? I suppose and I am not ashamed to say I do that for almost all competitive games I play; except for the Last of Us.
Most I could remember back from that first game we played against one another, you were Rath and I was Benedict and I felt taunting when it was your team jumping me solo and then you taunting as cheap and disrespectful. So, thinking back on myself, yeah I would probably send a message saying how one should take me more seroiously than a group up on one person then taunt from the Rath that does the final 200-300 damage to me.
If I get my ass handed to me by that one individual and they taunt, yeah kudos. I move on, I will remember that person and definitely strive to return the favor (in fact I have told teammates to back off so I can take what is mine, taunting me can reach levels of pride and again respect and I take it to a degree of seriousness when it happens). But if I am taunted after: a group/gangbang and last guy taunts me, someone does less than the rest of the team and taunts me, or said person attacks me (in game) gets spanked and runs to a healer kills me and taunts me, then yes, you and I will get very well acquainted and you will see many, many taunts from me before we are through. My goal (win or lose) will be to have my status as ādominatingā taunters in my direction.
In return, I donāt taunt when I get kills off of insignificant amounts of damage, I didnāt get the kill by myself (seriously, I have told Teammates to not interfere with characters I go after who have taunted me), or teammates donāt listen to me and interfere.
My mindset is very different than a lot of gamers. So to say you know what kind of person I am without ever playing with me is interesting.
To sum it up. taunting=disrespectful, I donāt do it unless taunted by someone and if taunted by someone when certain circumstances are met, then yes that individual will get my full attention. Be respectful, donāt taunt me. You can if you want, just be a tank or hang out next to your healer. I apologize for past meās comments/message.
