Suggestions for mellka gear loadout

Personally I love mellka but my problem is to become a better mellka I need gear suggestions or just one because right now I run song of vigor and vyn’s quiver I love health regen especially on Eldrid but I need a new gear piece to fill in the final slot,any suggestions?

Well I have that class for certain game modes And I was thinking between the pacifier symbiotic gauntlet or shield web interdictor

Of those three choices, I’d go with Pacifier, personally. Without a shield, you won’t benefit as much from symbiotic gauntlet (yeah, there’s some regen, but not that much) and Interdictor is redundant with venom, IMO.

Symbiotic gauntlet doesn’t have regen…does it? Thought it got changed?

I was thinking about the pacifier a lot because attk damage is nice and shield is amazing to go with a Eldrid and mellka is often damaging a lot of enemies at one time and damaging an enemy with her venom will cause 12 second of damage reduction the only problem is getting it I have searched the algorithm for many years now and never gotten it

I meant on Mellka and in the build. You want to keep health high to benefit from the gauntlet. If you think that won’t be a problem, go for it.

Personally when I play melka I run the alamo-7 and either mini singularity launcher or VoZF with a 0 cost shard item. Slows and emergency immune to gtfo

I only really PVE so this might not help. Mel is amazing at doing tons of damage fast and I can crit super well with her (for some reason she is really accurate for me). I tend to focus on damage and crit with her so I run these and always top damage on PVE runs. 200k-300k per sab or heliophage.

I don’t use legendaries but I stack Health and Skill damage on mellka… I feel like attack speed and reload speed are useless on her.

Melka can actually be really tanky, which makes her ridic. I run a zero cost shard gen with purple skill damage/max health, and purple attack damage/max health. Once I get all my gear and some helix choices I think that’s like 750/800 more health then she started with.

Skill damage buffs the poison, etc.

attack speed and reload are total wastes on her, i agree. skill damage i dont even feel compares with recoil reduction and crit increase…she is soooo damn accurate at mid-range. if you look at the gear i run for PVE it is like 420 health + 30% damage increase + 12% to crit damage…soooooo tough and soooooo fast.

her gun is already accurate though, I don’t feel like she need the recoil either :confused:

i prefer the special effect over the recoil reduction. i agree she is already very accurate but with ALL the bullets she can pump out and that crit damage i like the idea of that 7% popping off a bunch and 50% bonus damage on top of her already crazy damage is a chance i’ll take :wink: total pve though!

After the newest round of nerfs that recoil reduction and health in my gear load out is looking a lot nicer…

I tried using a bunker buster gimmick build on incursion a few days ago(bunker buster is a shield pen item that turns your shield pen percentage into bonus damage against shields) it was working really well even though it was my first match using mellka. I had a 41% shield pen rating on all attacks and venom also set off the bonus damage. it made it easier for me to cause mayhem

I use the Codex Fragment, attack damage and attack speed gauntlet, and boots.

Either stack the living crap out of maximum HP or stack reload/attack speed; These are the only three stats that actually have large effects on her

Edit: Shields too of course but who needs shields when you can have waaaay more health
