Well, at least you have that. Is it awesome being Australian? You’re, like, competent versions of us Americans. And that’s probably what makes you so good at this game.
My god, if all the Australians had normal connection, they could wreck!

Well, it’s awesome being me. Can’t vouch for anyone else, though.
The Australians I’ve played with tend to be better on average, but it’s a process of natural selection: any Australian who persists with BB is the kind of stubborn player who’ll master her chosen character(s) and communicate well. You can’t really be a ‘casual’ BB player down here - you either go all in or get the hell out. Red bar is a cruel mistress.

In the stream they mentioned faster leveling and faster games. Will we be gaining a level a minute like they suggested? Will there be huge gaps in leveling? How will this effect balance? Will late game heroes shine again?

Once we get to test out supercharge we will know, but if that applies to the 3vs3 version of incursion and meltdown it’s going to be an unbalanced mess as it’s already a problem in regular 5vs5 as you will have gaps in difference on people lvl.
Ex. I have a load with orendi that lets me lvl up quite quickly and sometimes when i reach lvl 5 I see some people still at 2, now if this quicker lvl system is in play in those 3vs3 version I can see people getting to lvl 7 while others are stuck at 2-3

They told us about the new MINREC lines. They didn’t tell us about the new Nova lines! I like the one about soda pop.
Also: “You’re halfway to victory. Might as well take a break, you’ve earned it! This message sponsored by the enemy team.”

Again . Marquis is ridiculous…why don’t change the character statistics to have a fair game? If not, block the character.at least buff the owls in supercharge…,

So, Marquis is bad or good?

Pretty bad from what I’ve seen so far. Nowhere for him to perch where he won’t immediately get double/triple-teamed or blinded by Caldarius.

I’m struggling to imagine any 3v3 mode where Marquis isn’t going to be easy prey for enemy assassins.

How has the Matchmaking / connectivity been for you Down Underites?
What am I doing wrong? I’m getting hosed out there. I don’t get supercharge, there are so many thing to do in so little time. I feel completely ineffectual no matter what I’m doing. Defense seems pointless when they can score anyway and I can’t get into a position to attack. I hate the idea of TDM. Idk how people are getting so many shards to activate their gear in such a short time, I was grabbing every shard I walked past and barely got a single legendary up even with a shard gen. Capturing the point is pointless because you only get xp while you are standing on it and the opposite team gets more xp for killing your shepherd. It’s so damn chaotic I don’t know where I’m supposed to be or what I’m supposed to be doing at any given time. Should I give up completely on trying to match solo? I need help, any tips?

Our formerly-retired trio had an easy first run of Supercharge, winning all our games save for a match against a Boldur-headed premade that wasn’t made any easier for our red bars.
Mostly we just focused waves. I was Mell every game and found her really strong here, although I also absolutely blew up a lot of enemy Mellkas, so who knows. Communication and CC made a huge difference as usual. One of us played Kelvin (for the first time in her life, pretty much) and his chomp and stun seem basically OP in the mode

Horizon feels especially brutal solo, there’s just way too much going on in that map with the distance between the lanes to feel particularly useful and have a full grasp on the battlefield without communication. Ziggurat and to a lesser extent Permafrost are a bit more clear. I was hoping less players would lead to individual effort being more impactful but so far it feels like the opposite where it’s way more team dependent than ever. You get a ton of XP from capturing the point and if you get the point to start things off you basically begin the match at level 2.

I suggest you look at the character you are using. Possibly switch up who you use until you find what works best for you. There are some characters that are really really weak in this mode. Kleese for example is far to big, and it’s also difficult for him to get set up anywhere useful, and even if he does, he has absolutely nowhere to escape if he gets targeted.
If the enemy team is focusing really on keeping the point, then they seem to usually slack off on the minion killing/protecting their wave aspect. If the enemy team wants to camp by the point, I don’t try to contest it. It gives me free reign to kill their minions, and gather as many shards as I possibly can. When they realize they need to be more proactive, then go ahead and grab the point if it’s safe, but be ready to bail. They might all converge on your lonesome self.
So far in my experience, the best characters for this mode are tanky characters, and fast mobile characters. Some of the support cast seem to be halfway useless as well.

I really hate the two tanks and Benedict combo… you can never get through the tanks to get that damn bird.
Two tanks and a Miko are pretty bad too but not as bad.
I absolutely HATE seeing Montana or boulder on permafrost. Feels like they’re just trying to knock you off the edge the whole time

Like what Belgareth said, try out certain characters. I recommend Foxtrot, who can keep himself alive pretty well, with generally solid killing power. Bring HR gear.

It’s on every mode:. With the queen Galilea out of the equation, Kelvin and Boldur have regained their kingdom.

Galilea is my most played and I play a lot of support. Alani and miko are in my top 5. Support are going to have a hard time because they can’t solo anything anymore and Galilea is trash tier now. I’ve been doing best with deande and she might take the tile of “girl with it all” from Galilea.

You would be 100% correct with that assumption
