Be careful, I can almost see the “I’m not a treeist, but…”-types practicing their lines like:

  • in the rainforest more plants are killed by other plants than by lumberjacks.
  • the number of unarmed trees felled by lumberjacks isn’t even statistically significant.
  • better concentrate on intra-tree violence.
  • maybe the lumberjacks were on a hair-trigger because they had to face bad trees all day.
  • the tree was aggressive to the lumberjacks.
  • maybe the tree was on drugs and the lumberjacks just had to put the axe to it.
  • what that lumberjack did was wrong, but it was a bad tree, so don’t protest.
  • you can’t call me a treeist, I have memes to ‘prove’ my opinion.

You definitely have freedom of speech there, I don’t think you understand the term at all. I’m definitely glad in some European countries Fox is pooled in with the cartoon channels in cable lineups.

As a citizen you can say whatever you want. As a company that is supposed to deliver fact based news you’re not allowed to lie.

Has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Also, in the U.S., you’re only allowed full free speech when it’s directed towards the government. Doesn’t cover other people, companies and so on.

They have a freedom of exprrssion. Charter. The Charter also permits the government to enforce “reasonable” limits. Hate speech , obscenity, and defamation are common categories of restricted speech in Canada .

So i personally think Canada does a better job than the usa period.

Except when it comes to comedy stuff said in general.

Fines for comedian lite jokes too things like that. Its an ongoing issue. Things we can joke on stage here u cant there. Anything deemable offensive can land you a fine.

Thats all i mean. The atmosphere in Canada is 1000% better than the usa in every other area.

Problem with all lives matter is it seems to have been created to dilute black lives matter.

If you’re white,
are you afraid for your life when you get pulled over by a cop?
do you constantly get pulled over by cops for “swerving” or “forgot to signal”, even though you know you weren’t and didn’t?
do you encounter people who, when they see you, quickly walk to the other side of the street or turn around entirely?

Lots of situations that I know a lot of my black friends encounter ALL the time.

In the past 11 years I’ve been pulled over 5 times. Once for speeding, 4 times in a two week period for “riding with black driver”. It’s obvious and sickening.

There is no need for an all lives matter.

OOF. There’re at least a couple fallacies here:

  1. Red herring: Partway through an argument, the arguer goes off on a tangent, raising a side issue that distracts the audience from what’s really at stake.

What do abortions and women and children in Africa have to do with US Police brutality? Nothing.

You imply one cannot genuinely support the BLM movement without first meaningfully addressing other issues: “GB wants to stand with BLM, but fails to address the every day black on black crime.”

It is not possible for GB to meaningfully address intra-racial crime, nor is it necessary for GB to do anything more than state their support of BLM. Given the choice between supporting BLM and not supporting them, GB obviously made the right call, even from a standpoint of pure-self interest as Racists are a minority and it would be foolish to risk alienating a majority of your player base.

You then admit that police brutality is a problem but imply Gearbox should address it some other time: “If you want to show your support for BLM do it every day and not when an outrage mob arises.”

A movement will be most effective and have the greatest chance of effecting change when it has a clear message , an event to rally around, and human momentum to make it visible in the media so people actually notice. In other words, showing your support for BLM when an outraged mob arises is exactly the perfect time to do so; especially from a PR standpoint, which I mention because the purpose of your post is ambiguous: are you anti-black, pro-police (a fascist in these circumstances), or simply annoyed that GB isn’t making a MORE meaningful show of support?

(side note: no one cares about the opinions of racists or fascists, nor does anyone wish to hear them speak or read their words. I’m only really here to add names to my mute list so I can visit these forums without being bothered by filth, but hopefully my response to your thoughtless words will be beneficial to someone.)

It seems clear (to me anyways) that the People of the United States of America have domestic enemies who murdered Mr. Floyd as part of a long ongoing attack on Black American’s and their economy. The home of American Fascism, the Republican party, has nothing else to fall back on but hatred, destruction, and violence. They hope it will destroy the people, but they are sadly mistaken.

You simply have no idea what you’re talking about. Just guessing that your sources of news are ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC etc. it doesn’t matter as they’re all serving as propaganda outlets for the DNC. Consider expanding your information input, or sources I should say.
