The “I’ll take everything” helix works by first sucking in enemies like Kleese’s black hole, as it passes by them. Then, once it hits a wall or reaches max distance, it will come back and actually pull people into Shayne, grabbing each target on the way.

There’s a lot of room for Ghalt/Boldur/Monty to just hook Shayne, Boldurdash away, Lumberjack Dash away, or simply just move out of the area.

i dont think ive ever seen it work like that. and even if it does, it’s very quick leaving little room for monty or ghalt to really do anything considering the delay on dash/hook

I don’t believe that ghalt’s kit itself is necessarily Op or anything, but there are a few spots on the map where he can feel pretty broken. The main area where he can kinda break the gamemode would be the ledge that is behind the point. From there, it can be nearly impossible to reach him with boldur or montana without getting pulled, and there are no shard barrels up there to knock him off. He also can see and blow up any shard barrels on the map from up there for kills, as well as hook anyone attempting to cap the point. The only good ways of getting him off of there is coordinate multiple people to rush at him at once, which is nearly impossible with no communication, or to be ghalt as well and pull him, which leaves you at a disadvantage while approaching.

Of course, the mode is only temporary, so this isn’t some sort of big deal or anything, and I doubt anyone cares a whole lot at all, but I have seen some people do nothing but pick ghalt and camp that spot for multiple games in a row and ruin the gamemode for others. They should at least add shard barrels up there to give the others a chance, if they were to ever do this mode again in the future.

THIS is exactly what I’m getting at. Of course, like you said in the latter half of your post, no one seems to care… which is unfortunate, because I kinda do… Any new mode in BB is worth getting right to me.
