Oh, i’ll always taunt with Toby or Benedict if i can, for the reasons i just listed. People REALLY lose thier ability to focus when they see a cute penguin say “Wow, you’re even worse at this then I am; and i’m AWFUL!”

You should ALWAYS taunt when you’re playing a tank and that you’re not in any danger after a kill.
Remember, taunting, generating aggro from the other side, and holding aggro is your job. Kill in the most frustrating manner, taunt with the most frustrating taunt. Have them all come at you.
You may want your support to watch over you closely afterwards tho

Haha I actually love Benedict’s taunts being an Arrested Development fan, but I do get annoyed with a good Toby’s taunt more than I like to admit.
If you play on PS4, and see me, expect to get penguin-stomped then 
“Keep it up, buddy; you’re doing GREAT!!”

I usually don’t taunt, and not because I’m trying to be kind, but because I’m too busy looking for someone else to kill to waste time in a taunt animation.
However, when I do taunt, it’s because I hate you and wish you would die in real life.
I don’t really mean that, I have been drinking.
What I meant to say is that I try to telegraph kills, taunt before the kill happens. Like Babe Ruth, only not fat and ugly, but still wrecked.
I run straight into a Benedict Boomsday. I’m low health, should have left the fight already. He taunted. I Deserved it. Laughed
I throw down my Ult as OM, behind the enemy when they aren’t paying attention. Enemy OM is low health, should have left the fight. He dies instantly. Hah. I taunted. He deserved it, always taunt a clone! (He also taunted me before. It’s only fair to return the favor)
Enemy has been rolling over our team and killed us repeatedly. While trying to stop the enemy from pushing our sentry but eventually getting overwhelmed, their Marquis shoots the last shot from complete safety and taunts the kill. I get huffed. It didn’t feel fair. I move on.
If I had that darn Whiskey taunt I’d do nothing but taunt…

As someone who plays almost exclusively Cald and WF, I consider not taunting as wasting part of my characters’ skills.

Best taunts are those that inspire rage of unimaginable scale.
Usually I don’t taunt, but in your scenario OP, if you’re going so hard to kill me just to be killed by me, I’m taunting.
Also think of it this way, by taunting you, and you getting so irritated and gunning for him/her over and over, that taunt did a really good job at breaking you down and making you reckless which turned that first taunt into an invaluable tool for that person.
Note: If Benedict taunts you, you would really feel like punching somebody. Just saying. lol

Some of his lines are more rage inducing, fits his style
I always taunt Galilea every single god damn time I kill her. But the one thing I hate is people who taunt you when their whole team gangs up on you and they get the kill. That always annoys me because I don’t think it’s taunt worthy if your entire team goes on one guy.

It only induces mild rage in me when it’s a two or three vs one. I get over it immediately though. It doesn’t get in my head or ruin my game.
If someone kills me 1v1 and taunts, so be it. They earned that taunt. I’m fine with that.
When I get ganged on by three other battleborn, I think the taunting is ridiculous. Or when your getting pub stomped and the opposing team has like three levels on you. You basically just murdered a child and taunted afterwards so you could fee like a big person.
I think there is an appropriate and respectful time for taunting, adding insult to injury isn’t one of those times. I actually lose respect for people that taunt in those situations.

only times I get mad from taunting is when I get ganged and the killer who probally also has the least damage dealt taunts me as he thinks he is a total badass but I find it funny/sad when somebody who is going negative taunts you or their one kill of the game they taunt you but usually something I like to do about those people is they taunt me once I taunt them twice. I remember a game where I was orendi and i killed this other orendi about 3-4 times but she dealt 5 damage to me killed me then taunted me i killed her 6 more times and taunted her five of them.i was playing Titanfall 2 beta the other day and I was tee bagging a lot and this one guy killed me and did the same I got what I deserved but I killed him later and it got greasy
But remember his taunts come from a tv show called arrested development on netflix

I’m mixed no taunting. I usually get mad when a Benedict taunts me as a melee character from the safety of his perch on Monuments.
But when I just unlocked Teabag Ceremony on WF, so I’ve taken up the mantle of getting good with him.
I normally don’t taunt, cause it just isn’t worth it, but I almost never miss a taunt as WF with the Teabag Ceremony. It’s just hilarious.
Had a Phoebe chase me down when I took her out early game and taunted her.
It became a back and forth battle of killing each other and taunting. It was hilarious.
I also taunt when I finally break a kill streak. Feels good to take them down just a peg. I expect the same done to me when my kill streak hits the double digits.
Some of you guys really need to loosen up a bit.
