Sorry been a way now I am back. we are on the look out for a clan war ?
Hi all TAW looking for clans for clan vs clan as we are big now
Sent you a friend invite on steam. Team USA, including myself, Finger, and AOHNH are always up for good games.
Grab your best guys and lets 3v3. We should be around tomorrow.
I’ll broach the rest of TFL to see if we can organize something…
HI all I am back. TAW is still looking for new members to join up
What is your member count for Homeworld?! Last I checked you could have seven teams/clans competing competitively instead of having a unified group… O.o
We are still the same at this time doing my best to get us bigger
Then my question, frankly, is why? How does that benefit you?
Numbers are great, and all, but it seems a bit pointless when all it’llbe doing from this point onward (if anything) will be removing how competitive your members are, not to mention starving other (smaller) clans a membership so that you’ll actually have opponents.
I think for some its a matter of quantity and not quality (no derision intended). Though quantity has its merits, through experience, I have found that people have more fun in smaller numbers and the “quality” of the individuals. I think this rings especially true for the HW community because, well, it has a lot of great people.
Start small, hope to get bigger and attract like minded people, or end up just staying small and comfortable and enjoy the fun times to be had. It could be a win-win. Personally, I’m all about win-wins!
I completely agree with your first statement. My experience leads me to the same conclusion.
There will always be rookie clans. They have their place. It was the 9th back in the old days, Ivy League in Eve,TaW looks like it’s taking this roll for this generation. It’s good to have a place that takes everyone and schools them. I’m glad someone is doing it.
I can appreciate where you are coming from but as you know the game hasn’t been full of members wanting to play games for the last 3 months. So, when it comes to trying to get into playing a game its been a long a tedious exercise. The benefit about being a part of a larger community is when we all get on we can get into a game straight away rather than spending a fair while waiting for a game to be available. As we are broken down into 3 battalions (EU, NA and Oceanic) there’s always “local” rivalry and competitions to keep our members interested. We welcome any new members that want to join and with our experienced older game players from back in the day to aide them to get to a decent level on our match nights. TAW is a new clan for this game but we are not a new clan. We have been around from 2001 in TAW we have 2600 members playing over 35 games and HW is one of them with a lot of old experienced players and MOD makers for HW. We can sustain ourselves as we can make new MODS which keeps match nights more interesting.
TAW looking for a clan to do some 2v2 3v3 and 4v4 with
Have you guys considered officially moving onto the Community Patch as the exclusive balance you’ll use? It’s certainly better. I’ll also let you know that there’s a tournament coming in the future, so, it may be a good idea to find your best players to play in advance for that.
