As far as gear goes, what does âCCâ stand for?

It most likely means âcrowd controlâ.
Stun, slow, knockback, knockup⌠I guess silence too. Abbreviation is crowd control, yeah. â â â â knows why, since these status effects are mainly used on single targets.
It only takes one person for a crowd with sufficient confidence 
Well to be fair, in this circumstance, it could stand for âCharacter Controlâ 
But yeah, in most games CC = Crowd Control.

Thatâs one of the problems Iâve had with this game. People use a lot of MOBA abbreviations to describe concepts within the game.
I think the reason for it being âcrowd controlâ is that itâs originas are most likely in the MMORPG genre where one character would be expected to shut down several NPCs with an ability. It since got adopted by the MOBA crowd and through that found itâs way here.
I was trying to avoid abbreviations in this post but it would have ended up about twice as long if Iâd decided to forgo them entirely.
