Don’t you mean thread? Sure this thread is huge but I don’t think it qualifies as its own forum :smirk_cat:

Idea:

  • Name: F1
  • Manufacturer: Vladof
  • Rarity: Legendary
  • Type: Grenade
  • Grenade Type: MIRV
  • Red Text: Pineapple Surprise!
  • General Info: Lower damage but lots of child grenades (12), 4 child grenades deal Shock, 4 child grenades deal Incendiary, 4 child grenades deal Corrosive, 4 child grenades deal Explosive or each child grenade randomly decides what element it is.

If you want to “borrow” this for your 4th Item Expansion Vladof Legendary grenade that’d be perfectly awesome.

Interesting. I was thinking about making something like this. However no rainbow, that’ll be OP AF.

But rainbows! Kinda agree that it might just be a wee bit overpowered if every element but wanted it to fit the red text a little. Maybe just up the rarity to pearlescent

Interesting:

(edit)

Just noticed that this post was the 666th on this topic… Need anymore proof that I’m a diabolic person? XD XP

Ahahahh, so all of my ideas are worthless?
/cries in the corner/
Also, is it possible to create an explosive nova shield in the game?

It was confirmed when you made your Godless drug-injector vial, being post number 666 is just icing on the cake IMO.

Shieds:

  • I’ll have to look into the refection thing… But don’t count on it.
  • This can be made with ease I believe.
  • This can be made but is more pearlescent then Legendary due to the sheer amount of things it does.

Grenades:

  • I don’t believe BL1 supports the same PhysiX effects as BL2 and BLTPS, so this won’t work.
  • There is no such thing as critical homing. But I could make it regular homing.

Do the vials only last for a certain amount of time?

They last until you save and quit or until you administer a different one.

Right. Because every timw I triggered Ransack with Mordy, I was able to use another vial; they don’t conflict do they? I have managed to find two pieces of gear, a Heinkkel Wolfe mod and a Wildfire.

When you administer the same vial you administered before will cause the previously active lootskill to get deactivated and reactivated by the new vial, preventing stacking. It has nothing to do with ransack, when you administer a vial it has a 2 second cooldown after which you can administer it again. (although you don’t have to as the skill is persistent until you save 'n quit or administer another vial)

Oh, I see. makes sense. Thanks! Been having a blast with Mordy in the Zombie DLC, playing through the hospital and such. Got a Thermogenesis, and I have to say it’s friggen INCREDIBLE.

+1 legendary on *Brutal

Very cool effect, doesn’t help much against the horde although.

Just let them run into it. Its a fire and forget weapon.

Well it works, it’s just that I have to expose myself to their attacks if I play that way and firerate for this one I found is too low to push back their numbers. edit: nop, I don’t think that firerate changes much on second thought. It’s a fun weapon, just doesnt’ seem to be viable against the slow and numberous zombies.

It actually should be as the spread has time to settle in. These bullets last almost forever. Its a trap, the longer they’re alive the more they disperse allowing better killing.

Well yes it works, shooting bullets where zombies are going to go through and retreating is a fun thing to do, isn’t time efficient for farming although. Can’t progress much when strategy involves retreating against every single enemy on map and when there are over 300 for a full run.

Found some more!
-something. Is having no screen sway it’s effect?

-another one, at least something I can sell for some money.

-a gun which does some damage, using it against zombies now occasionally to build up pistol proficiency.

Jeesh, now that I’m working on the new Legendary shields (I’m not really in the mood for mapping so I’ve switched to me side-bi*ch project for a while). I’ve started balancing out all my previous Pearlescent shields, and finding that sweetspot for both my legendary and pearlescent shields compared to the vanilla purple grade stuff is quite the difficult thing…
