I believe you can get bottles of solution that effectively do the same as the soap film trick, but are faster drying. I’ve noticed that quite a few medical professionals seem to use it for the same reasons.

Well, apparently they have them at Canadian Tire, but I don’t know how that would interact with the anti-reflective coating on my existing glasses. And they cost way too much to experiment with.
Intended to keep automotive glass from fogging up. You could probably get an answer from the manufacturer or your eyeglass professional.
one thing is for sure, the coronavirus has ruined everything. I can feel the effects of the pandemic. Despite the fact that I work on remote, I have less work to do https://spdload.com/blog/7-best-telemedicine-apps-2020/ . And somehow it becomes a shame, because I now have a lot of time and I cannot fully transfer this time to work.
I have been working from home since mid-March. Which is not ideal for what I do, but I’m mostly managing it.

That IS good news. Our numbers in Toronto aren’t quite there yet, but close enough that it’s expected we’ll hear about phase 3 re-opening today. Hopefully people don’t go nuts. Fortunately, the premier is pretty blunt in calling out the virus scofflaws in the province and, as he would be a pretty solid R south of the border, that actually seems to be helping.

I hadn’t realised just how common it was in general for viral infections to leave lingering symptoms long after the virus could no longer be detected by tests. Given how much we don’t know about the long term effects of this particular virus - which seems to infect pretty much every part of your body given half a chance - it’s possible that even those who didn’t require hospitalization could be dealing with this for a long time to come.

The annoyingness of “is it covid or not”
I am asthmatic and this year has been pretty ■■■■■■ with allergies. I wake up today all tight chested, a runny eye, a stuffy nose, and a combo of wet and dry coughs. No fever. Took 4 puffs of the puffer and had a hot shower. My chest is still blarg. I still have my appetite as I ate a large lunch.
I have to work tomorrow, so I’m scratching my head on: should I just wait a day or call in sick now…

That’s one thing I’m paranoid about. I’ve had a cough for weeks now, and a few days ago had a low fever that vanished in minutes (I think it was probably just situational). As for getting tested here… well, I’ve mentioned how difficult it is before. Further, given I already self isolate it’s not like much would change.
I will say this, my paranoia about catching this has gone through the roof as we see the long term consequences.
