When you do try it only searches for a short time before it puts you in a Helio match by yourself!
What up with that? 
Early on, Heliophage was not an option, but a lot of people were complaining because no one was voting for it and you need it to complete a handful of lores. So they created it’s own queue
Now, it just follows same rules as queues

GBX could probably retire that in favour of something else at this point - maybe the DLC Story Ops? Anyone needing to pick Heliophage can still go the private match route with friends, and they could add it back into the standard set of “picks”. Plus, it’s pretty much guaranteed to crop up in the Tempest spotlight rotation whenever that happens.

I would say to add it to the Normal Mode Queue again buuuuut then you’ll have like level 2’s wanting to jump into it and that doesn’t sound like a good time at all.
Hardcore Advanced Heliofage for those who never did that mission? I bet they’ll have a lot of “fun”.
Is there a way to make a single PVE queue, but with selectable options?
- Normal missions
- Normal Heliofage
- Advanced missions
- prefer 2-3-man teams
- prefer 4-5-man teams
Multiple picks allowed.
Since there’s almost no “matchmaking” required in PVE, it will be much easier to do that than for PVP.

It’s been a few months. Just give it a very low chance of appearing in normal and give it a warning that it’s the last. They now have the ability to tweak chances of maps appearing so this should work
Single queue will help low population. Now you can only go into one queue, but with options you can choose them all and find teammates even faster.

Wouldn’t being limited counteract the single queue anyways? I guess it with it being an option and people who just wanna play getting split up to fill it would work well. Good point
Or they can offer it only for those teams who did all previous missions (if there’s a CR2 you won’t get it). Or even a bit more strict conditions.

Probably the same level of “fun” they have in any advanced hardcore mission on a five-man team when they (a) haven’t played the mission and (b) only picked up the game earlier that day. Some folks seem to believe that they’re instant experts in everything, I guess?

I wish that they would just put this in the normal queue. Heliophage advanced is ridiculous and it’s in that queue. I don’t understand why they’ve let it sit out for so long. It’s been nearly impossible to find anyone there for at least a month.

I’ve got 103 completed Helio missions so it might just be my fav actually.
