Is that anything like crème brûlée?
Seems to be similar from the sound of it.

…and the look of it, too. The typical layer of caramelized sugar is missing. As @Dr_Do-Little posted crème caramel is a close relative.
Pretty much. I’ll go with @Curmudge0n on it.
Speaking French does not automatically make you a culinary know it all!
Don’t you dare try and prise me from my stereotypes
Now where in all nine hells did I put that crowbar?
Oh pshaw, you’re loving your role as das Klischee
It’s not a nice job, but someone has to do it!
Well, this day is safer:
- Bow Tie Day
- Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day
- Radio Commercials Day
I am no fan of commercials and too young to remember Bifröst. So, what to post:

Bow ties are so underrated. I love it when men wear them!
Now that’s an endorsement. Some more of those and bow ties are well on their way to a comeback!
now where did I put those things, dammit
Problem might be that bow ties are currently considered either ultra-formal (weddings etc.) or as something old professors wear. Anyway, I like them better than ties, so a comeback would be well received.
Lol you right.
I saw someone wearing one the other day and got super excited. I made sure to tell him how nice it looked.
He pulled it off so well in that he didn’t look super formal, or like a professor, just a nice accessory to his outfit. Hopefully they make a come back.
And I love it when women wear them
Uhm, not too hard to find some pictures, though I’ll admit that this is verrrry classic:

Edit: another classic

So, women wearing bow ties gets a resounding: Why not?
Point taken. I don’t mind modern, but after a short search yielded two Hollywood classics…
And as a slightly enthusiastic Whovian it was physically impossible to pass the Matt Smith quote by. I just had to use that! It was stronger than me.
To be fair, I knew exactly who I was looking for

I rarely think about bow ties. (Actually almost bought one for my brother’s wedding
)
But when I do…
Today:
- Individual Rights Day
- Lemon Juice Day
- Chop Suey Day
If anyone hasn’t heard of John Locke yet, which seems improbable, please research a little.
And concerning the other days:
I’m told his recipe for chop suey is the best in the business!
Nah, that was his cousin, Chun Locke…
Badum-tsss
Edit: As a personal opinion, System Of A Down’s Chop Suey still can’t be beat.
