Attikus wrecks in PvE. Not sure how he is in PvP, but I imagine he’s decent.

He definitely does. All he needs is a more accurate pounce indicator, one that accounts for his size. As is, it’s slightly inaccurate because it doesn’t account for his hit box.
Not sure what you’re basing that on, in PVP he dies easily… in PVE basically anyone is fine except for the occasional boss or ranged only situation (usually a boss). I’ve heard some arguments about his damage but reliably using it is nearly impossible against some of the more popular characters as everyone can outrun him and many characters have ranged attacks / area of effect skills that make him have to retreat.
Of course I’ll wait till release to see if there were better gear choices or new tactics that I wasn’t properly employing in the beta but he is pretty straight forward and it was hard to do much until late game.
The ranking system is ONE way to unlock characters. The other is through mission or PvP match challenges. It’s an Either/Or thing, not both.
Section 8, infinte crisis, mach arena, and League of legends. Pretty sure there are some others maybe underground India games. My point is that what determined a games genre is the core focus of gameplay, not what ever the devs decide to call it. You could call shuan of the dead a horror movie that is funny, or a comedy movie with gore, but you cant just call it a genre Like “fright laugh”. Hero Shooter? Really? It’s the whole ninja turtle, street shack video all over again.
I am long year FPS player and there WAS NOT any game like this before…
This game defines new genre (FPS/MOBA mix) for many people, including myself.

no, not really. but last year i played it a lot and there was no story mode.

Infinite crisis was the DC Moba (the name being from a DC story line). RIP Infinite Crisis, I actually enjoyed you.
MOBA has the big flaw of the name being broader than the genre. Two of the PvP modes are MOBA on is a more traditional arena shooter style (control point) and there is also a full cooperative episodic mode. So I guess the big issue for definition is that it include many genres.
wasn’t it a marvel storyline too? about the infinity gauntlet? i swear i saw a 1pvs1p marvel game based on that infinity thing. and wasn’t infinite crisis a sequel/presequel for infinity wars? i miss being a full time nerd…
Infinity War, The Infinity Gauntlet, and Infinity Crusade are the Marvel story lines. Don’t think there ever was an Infinity crisis for marvel

im sure there are ton of marvel games around. still every free game on Android is p2win, so i never picked any of them.
im diggin the infinity movies, tho. and the civil war timeline. and the last 5 seconds of dawn of justice ruined the movie for me, had not been for that 5 seconds id’ be hyped for another one.

Many of these posts rely on an assumption that is iffy at best. customers are never 100% rational in their buying decisions. they just ain’t.
i was tired of waiting for Starcraft2 so I bought Red Alert3 because of Gina Carano. Turned out the game was great. I got lucky.

I started reading the first dozen or so posts in this thread and it was all tension and concern.
Skipped to the bottom and now it’s all Marvel mobile games, Green Lantern and Gina Carano. I’m just gonna assume everything turned out okay somewhere in the middle there.
