Soo it was going fine got to 6 stacks then
that backpedaling zig zagging A-hole ruined my morale for the rest of the day
but heres my first attempt!
And yea I used drop reload just because this was an attempt not a actual run

The weapon drop/reload exploit I’m sure is not allowed since it cannot be done with console.

Little late here - I actually went outside all day to enjoy an amazing day. Something to clarify and a couple thoughts :

to clarify : the map has to be run from beginning to end and only the CA stack at the transition counts right? Not the best stack mid-map.

drop reloads not allowed but that doesn’t stop you from packing multiple E-Guns. Also, since relics are mostly irrelevant, I grabbed Sal’s Jakobs recoil/mag-size relic which got my mag size up to 15.

anyone checked out Fearless yet for fire rate?

That’s how I’m interpreting the run rules but I think the max stacks reached might result in better numbers/ more variety in the results.
I’d like to be shown otherwise, but I’m not sure it’s possible to carry stacks all the way through, in which case it would come down to the last room or two.
Wasn’t able to get fearless to work. Tried speccing grim to see if that did anything and it didn’t. As far as I could tell, the best bet for fearless that would be just the right shield level for the com to get the capacity in the hundreds

Basically this. I’ve taken to just running past the map until after Mad Mike and starting from there.
Also I’ve tried different methods to get Fearless to work to no avail ; which a real shame as it improves fire rate by almost a full second ( I tried with a Love Thumper , with which Fearless does work ).
Edit - uploading the tail end of a run. I managed 10 stacks in the room after Mad Mike - watch them plummet. This is mainly to show the use of multiple Elephant Guns, which is highly dubious ( or ingenious! ) but whatever.

I would say that this is ingenious also I didn’t say that you can’t use multiple Elephant Guns so this is some lateral thinking.
I decided to change the rule about must having the Tortoise shield and Leg. Sniper. You can use now all shields and COMs which you think it would work best. But you still need to use Elephant Gun(s). The reason for changing the rule is to make this challenge more dynamic and to give you guys opportunity to show many different setups.

I just managed 6 stacks : ditched the multi-gun strategy and buffed the fire rate with COM and Fearless. RNG helped a lot.

I’ve had mixed success, getting up to decent counts occasionally, but can’t carry them. I had one run where I was able to carry a few stacks to the last room but got three shielded nomads that ruined the run I hate marauders and surprise psychos for ruining stack counts.
and yes, I’m a little salty about missing that last shot (twice), had enough stacks that with a little luck could have carried a fair number to the end
