Simply put: you can’t really mob with a sniper as Nisha, too little ammo.
So this is a gun best suited to take down bosses. Most bosses in the game are weak to Corrosive damage. 
(Not to sound snarky or anything, and not shooting down your oppinion, sorry if I do sound like it.)
I’m running a build on Nisha using the Plunkett and Razorback, with a Quad and a Maggie as secondary. I have the biggest trouble running out of ammo. Machine might change it, not sure. But overall I dont experience any ammo issues. To be fair, it might have to do with the fact that I dont use her AS.
This is kinda new to me. Yeah, MK5 is a given, and some, if not all in DLC4, but looks like I learned something new.
Plunket is different of course. And it seems that your playstyle is different from what one would expect. If you use it the same way you use the Plunket, you won’t run into problems.
Though I question the choice of the machine with that kind of playstyle: its strong point is a continuous fire bonus… Not really the playstyle to take advantage of it. You’d be better off with a regular Droog.
Most Nisha players are much more frantic.
I once made a list of all the bosses in the game, and between Corrosive and Shock, you can match element on over 80% of them.
rk-5, Felicity, Eclipse, Eos, Despair and Self-Loathing, Opah superior, Flameknuckle, The other Felicity from the dome and Shadowtrap… All are weak to Corrosive.
A sizeable portion of all bosses have shields and some of them are over 70% shield: Deadlift is almost all shield, Bosun has one, Denial subroutine too, The sentinel effectively has 4 shield bars for just one health bar, Eos has 3 shield bars for one health bar.
A small minority of bosses will resist part of these 2 elements: Iwajira is pure flesh, Bosun is half flesh, Denial subroutine is also half flesh… That’s pretty much it. 2 of these 3 are in a vacuum making fire less interesting once again.
In short, in TPS, it’s shock and Corrosive against bosses and neutral elements for mobbing (NE, explosive, Cryo, shock… Whichever you prefer)

OK, let me precise my claim before you accept my challenge.
You can’t really mob with Vladof Snipers with Nisha …and still advance at a reasonable pace.

@abvex and I just did a holodome run with 2 Aurelia’s with Machines and we made a joke of the dome, everything died so fast.

No really though. I Agree. I’ve been playing TPS on twitch a lot recently. And sometimes I feel pressured to “keep the show going”. I should probably just make a habit of pausing my stream when I’m taking a minor break. Not that my viewer count has ever been that high anyhow (highest I’ve noticed was like 8).
Were you using it like a combat rifle or one-shotting targets at distance?
when should I get the Machine? I’m at level 10 right now, should I wait till I’m a higher level? Will the rifle spawn at level 10 if I get it now? Same for the AR rifle too.
All SHiFT rewards are the level of the player at the time they are redeemed in Shifty Sheldon’s. I’m holding off on mine for now.

You get a level one Bullpup every time you start a new character. Its not a shift reward.
