The one gripe I have about progression in HW:DOK - Unit Experience

While playing this game, the one thing that sticks out for me is unit leveling/scaling seeming to be a massive undertaking, when considering trying to level up units like Baserunners and Support Cruisers. It seems (correct me if I’m wrong here) that the only time a unit actually gets EXP is if the lands the killing blow on an enemy unit. My suggestion for a fix to this would be to change the system so that any EXP from an enemy kill was split evenly between all units that did damage on the kill.

This would likely lead to small unit types, i.e. LAVs and Skimmers leveling much faster with a mixed group, due to needing less EXP to level in general, but that might not be a bad thing.

One other thing I wonder about the backend for the the game is why baserunners don’t get EXP when their turrets get kills? Or am I doing something wrong with them?
