Not happening with a good group.
20 to 25min max per missions actually.
And about 30+leg on 150+ missions completed.
But yeah,I guess you want yo be right instead of following logic, feel free
That isn’t logic its called speculation, doesn’t matter what your groups data is, it’s not accounting for every single players data. Which is the only way any sort of real numbers can be acquired, which only GBX has.
Oh and I’ve got about 25 legendaries in about 190 missions. All from normal.
Logic is to think that this system is a norm in gaming,it was a norm in their previous game,so it’s very probably the same here.
Logic is to see that it would be pointless to have different difficulty if it wouldn’t affect the loot. (the challenge, yes. We know that players do not strive on that only).
So yeah,it is logic to think that higher difficulty=higher chance at better loot.
Just the fact that higher difficulty=more ennemies=more loot is pure logic also.
I can see that I got about 15 more leg in barely 20 30 missions more than you,so yeah, also that.
Lol…
Just…lol
Obviously I’m not going to have the exact same number of legendaries per number of missions as you or anyone else for that matter. That’s just absurd to think that. The need to feel right is strong with this one…
The amount of threads with people complaining about running Advanced/Hardcore countless times and getting nothing but commons and uncommon, maybe a rare here or there, speaks otherwise.
The amount of enemies has nothing to do with chances for legendaries… That’s common sense since legendaries only drop from BOSSES. Not trash mobs.
So uhh yea also nuff said
Because people who get legendaries regularly in these difficulties are gonna voice their concerns on the forum?
I don’t see the comparison here but well, you want to be right,I don’t mind,I see how it works,I deal with it.
I get legendaries regularly in normal. Sometimes multiples from the same mission, so how about you do what you do, and I’ll continue to do what I do.
Guys, no need to heat up the discussion and get the topic closed ):
You’re right, sorry OP not my intention
I’m just passionate about the game
I’ve completed around 200 missions, with 3 full rows of legendaries. I’ve played the majority of games on either advanced for advanced HC. Noticed that Normal Pubs with a 5 man team is the best way to go to farm legendaries. Also i think its better to switch up the maps because if you grind one map too long, you just get burnt out/frustrated.
I so much hate tying gear to specific bosses. This makes the game feel like work as opposed to having fun killing stuff. Gosh, couldn’t they make it like Diablo where any gear can drop from any source?
@nllsq
The way I seeit, it wouldn’t make sense story wise to have say ISIC (LLC) have the chance to drop a Jennerit faction legendary I believe that’s why they are separated
The great thing about this is nobody will disconnect in the story mode, if don’t get the mission with the loot they seek.
The way loot incorporate story elements this can’t be done, unless they change the design, but maintain the stats.
Actually it would make perfect sense - ISIC gets the Jenerit legendary from the Jenerit troops who have tried to slay him earlier and have failed.
Ok I suppose that could be possible, but as it is now all the bosses drop there specific factions legendaries that’s all I was referring to
this is so true . the whole game feels like work . those challenges where you have to do impossibe stuff to unlock charackter legendarys . the endless hunt for legendarys in story missions, just to see the bosses drop green stuff no one needs. i just want to play the game and have fun playing. i don t want to jump and use a sklíll 20 times to kill an enemy(one of thorns challenges). this afternoon i thought about playing another round of battleborn, but then realized that i don t have fun playing it anymore its just work . i don t think i ll ever play another round of it . i just came here to see if they are planning o change stuff or give us some info, but i found nothing so i am out. just happy i didn t buy the season pass. (the game is so great but i just can t enjoy it because of all this work)
Battleplan comes out tomorrow so there will be some info… And I just started Thorns 20 volley kills I’m at 13/20 now, it’s not that hard really…
You can’t enjoy the game…? Because you have to play the game…? I’m rather confused by this statement.
Unless youre getting paid in monetary values no video game is “work”
i didn t say i cant enjoy the game , because i have to play the game. i said i can t enjoy the game because of the work it expects me to do.
i think the pvp modes are great and i enjoy playing them, but in order to get the legendarys (and i want them) i have to do very specific stuff and that sucks . i just want to play and don t want to worry about killing that oscar mike over and over again or stunning 3 enemys at once or whatever.
and to get the story mode legendarys you have to play every mission like 150 times, thats just not worth it the drop rates are way too low and it is frustrating. i think after playing every mission 25 times you should have them all and can concentrate on pvp. i think 3 runs for 1 legendary are more than enough. the way it is now it just sucks. the pve missions are just not good enough to play them that often.
I just got 1 on hardcore difficulty. i didnt try it often i did it 2-3 hardcore i would say and wasent even looking for it
Whiskey Foxtrot IS going to have his bursts stop being semi-auto. It’s slated for an upcoming patch, but I’m heading to work shortly, hopefully someone else can find the link for us.
As for loot chances: in Borderlands and BL2, adding more players increased the drop rate (because it also increased the difficulty.) I presumed the same thing was going on in Battleborn, and so far it does seem like you’re less likely to get legendaries from solo missions.
As for Advanced vs Normal mode … you’re definitely more likely to get legendaries from advanced. There’s also a larger pool of legendaries in advanced, as some of those won’t drop in normal. However, because the difficulty changes, some legendaries (I’m looking at you Vow of Zealous Fury) are much easier to get by running normal mode twice as many times in the same span vs running advanced and having a greater chance to fail the mission.
I don’t think so…
