@Slif_One There are a lot of misconceptions about how strong Rath actually is. His design makes him one of the best pub stomp characters because of how easily he punishes mistakes. So new players think heā€™s overpowered.

His average health and lack of a true escape makes more experienced players think heā€™s nothing more than an easy kill after the Dreadwind nerfs.

The most experienced players realize Rath is the best/most reliable initiator in the game with good burst and excellent peeling while being arguably the 5th most moblie character in the game.

Most people are adamantly stuck in the second line of thinking, even if they see good Rath play. My favorite example: You remember when you, codarik, anima, fooluke, and I went against the rest of the Aussies on Monuments? I went something like 17-3 that game with Rath. Next day Iā€™m playing with them and we get Monuments and I go Rath. I hear, ā€œRath? On the map that favors ranged characters? Thatā€™sā€¦ an interesting pickā€¦ā€. After having an amazing game against him. Some people just refuse to acknowledge how much potential Rath has. Even most people that have seen me play him donā€™t really acknowledge Rath himself as a good character, they just think I make him good.

You bet your sweet cheeks I am! I WOULDā€™VE BEEN A TITLE MASTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO IF IT WASNā€™T FOR BLOODY FOURS SENSITIVE, ITā€™S ANNOYING AS ALL HELL TO HAVE THAT ONE LEFT WHEN EVERYTHIG ELSE IS COMPLETE AND HAVE BEEN FOR RELATIVELY LONG TIME NOW! :cry:

Oh yes, I just need the followig premisses;

  • Need to be in a 5 man.
  • Need a Kid Ultra stacking 4 damage amp. drones on me.
  • Need an Ambra with damage amp. sunspots.
  • Need a Galilea who can pull people people across the map into her field of damage amp.
  • Need a Kelvin to stun everyone so they donā€™t run away.
  • Need to play Orendi.
  • Need to be 10.
  • Need to Pillarstorm.
  • Need to be in Bots Battles.

When those critera are met, then I can easily do it! Easy peasy :wink:

Nah, but Iā€™ve always set myself up to fail though. Often playing support/snipers and seldom play a role on the team which is to secure kills. In the same sense I obly try to go for Quads if I somehow get a triple. If I get a triple, then I will certainly chase the following kills!

My biggest hope is that if I get another quad, that quad will turn into a Penta. Then half of my quads have gone on to become Pentas :grin:

Basically me as well when I went for Waveform Smash at level 1 instead of the slow on Crossblades, have always preferred the larger AoE on the smash, especially when coupled with Catastrophic Smash. And people complain about Kelvinā€™s stun :wink:
