Aren’t payback and unbreakable a little mutually exclusive? Or does payback process even though you’re getting your shields back?

Yes it does. It’s when your shields break, not when they are down.

Ah, cool. I wasn’t sure if it operated like Fleet and Fearless. I’ll have to spec back into both now.

Yes, they actually have great synergy for blaster-tank builds as the extra shield strength will help protect you during the 10 seconds of Payback’s effect. Payback is also noteworthy because it is the one damage skill in the game that buffs literally every bit of damage you do, bullets, grenades (includes rockets), melee, even elemental DoTs (all of these are 7% per point except bullet damage which is the advertised 8% per point.)

Payback is one of those skills that should just be in every build.

Thanks. I’ve been playing BL 2 too much where shields down skills don’t work very well with those that restore shields on a kill because the later negates the former. I’ll definitely start putting points back into it though.

Since Revenge doesn’t affect launchers, is it a bullet damage boost or a gun damage boost sans launchers? Or do launchers even get gun damage at all?

It’s bullet damage, which is why launchers and carnage shotguns are unaffected. It will stack multiplicatively with any weapon damage effects, for the things it does affect. Launchers and Carnage shotguns are affected by relevant weapon damage (e.g. +% shotgun damage will affect both carnage and non-carnage shotguns), team damage effects (such as from a Warmonger com) will affect any held weapon including launchers and carnage shotguns. Grenade damage effects, such as team grenade damage effect of some Warmonger coms, will also affect rockets whether from carnage shotguns or launchers.

Two things, one, I looked up your video with the torgue enhancement class mod googled around is it still bugged with disappearing out of your inventory, sorry if this has been fixed some time ago but I’m just now getting really into this game. 2, wanted you to know the link to gothalions guide doesn’t work. I clicked it several times with no result. And back to the first thing I mentioned if the torgue mod is fixed how do you acquire it?

My Badass COM hasn’t disappeared on PC, so I guess that doesn’t happen now. And you can get loyalty COMs from Crawmerax, or Lance Chests. Don’t know if they drop from any other enemies.

They disappeared only when they were first added…that issue was patched. You will be fine! Best of luck finding them…
