You say its just me…Then the complete opposite. To clarify - It is spoilered for me, just not in the usual “tap to reveal” manner.
Nevermind it is working…But the letters are so damn dark i couldn’t even see them even when tapped. Good gosh.

Uhh yep! Kinda can’t wait to see how “sorry” they are.
At first, I assumed it was Rick because that’s who Daryl had called out to. Then I thought Iheard it say “help”, still hadn’t thought about what you said in your spoiler text (which seems to be working, btw) until I watched Talking Dead.
Does seem like that could be who it is.
Don’t read the spoilers!
Norman Reedus has already said that it’s not Glenn on the walkie at the end.
Well I am glad to hear that. But where did he say this?
I almost am too. It almost seems … anticlimactic somehow.
Just started watching since I missed the initial airing but, ■■■■■■■ seriously? You gotta be kidding me with this ■■■■…
Elaborate…?
I just don’t buy that Glenn could’ve been surrounded by that many walkers and still made it out alive, especially the way he was screaming during the initial fall. Not to mention how long they took to actually reveal it. I’m sure there’s plenty of people who are glad things turned out the way they did, but I’m honestly not too happy about it. Also, now any time there’s a death that we don’t explicitly see, it’s going to be questioned for weeks on end. I really thought Walking Dead was above stunts like this.
Comic: nobody is safe
TV: everyone is safe
Except for everyone that has died.
I have a feeling we’ll lose some main cast members, maybe one… possibly more. But, I don’t see everyone surviving this season.
Yeah, I’m with the “pissed off” crowd.
Light rant below with comic spoilers that may become show spoilers.
Seriously. What a ■■■■■■■ joke. Up until that last episode this has been hands down, my favorite season, and then they piss it away like that. It’s seriously stupid that they would play something up like that and then tell the audience four weeks later that it didn’t happen just for what? Sensationalism? What was the literal ■■■■■■■ point of this. It’s only going to be worse if they follow the neegan storyline and glenn gets his ■■■■■■■ ■■■■ rocked in the face. I’ve already “mounred” glenn. I thought it was a great alternate way for him to go out if they didn’t do that. Now if they ■■■■■■■ nut up and kill him again… what the ■■■■? Are we supposed to go through this ■■■■ one more time? Still, we’re back to ye olden times when I had told others “they won’t kill glenn” at this point because of audience involvement. I feel like he’s too safe now that he has such a high stature among fans and it seems unlikely that they’ll do it. Then again, if they do it again… I’m going to feel nothing because of this stupid ■■■■■■■ stunt. Christ almighty, how dumb.
Thank you so much for that little rant Ars. Sums up perfectly how I feel about it, except I haven’t read the comics. Glad to see I’m not alone in this.
Zillions of people are pissed off, they just don’t post in this forum. And if Negan is really going to appear and do the same he did to Glenn in the comics, fans that usually accept everything the tv show throws at us will wish he didn’t escape from that horde.
Im literally 60 seconds into this weeks episode and probably wont post more about it until later tonight (at least).
I just thought you guys would want to know that in the opening shot where it’s showing the inside of Rick’s girlfriend’s kid’s room, there is a shot where four faux-lego characters are presetn, that look vaguely like superheroes.
Those would be Invincible, Atom Eve, Allen the Alien, and Omni-Man from Kirkman’s superhero series, “Invincible”. Omni man looks like he may be losing an eye, which is a reference to a particularly nasty beating that the Viltrumite Emporer Thragg gave him, and invincible looks like he may have taken damage, likely from one of his fights against Conquest.
Side note, I would love to see an invincible series.
Yea, they mentioned this on Talking Dead as Kirkman was a guest.
I think last night’s episode opened the door for some pretty interesting story lines. I will say though, while I totally understand that AMC wants to lure Walking Dead viewers into Into the Badlands, the way they chopped stuff up last night was just absurd:
Choosing to make the Negan “reveal” after the credits was kind of a lame idea. It works in a movie where all people have to do is stay after the credits and watch. Unfortunately, DVRs don’t work that way. I didn’t even know they had “revealed” Negan until I saw it on Talking Dead. It’s also been a bit irritating that they’re not showing the preview for next week’s episode until the first commercial break of ITB. I’m trying that show out just because I’m curious and it’s ok, but it’s still annoying that they don’t just show the preview. Again, I understand it, I just don’t like it.
Having said that, I think this season has been really good. Normally, I’m also kind of annoyed at the whole “mid-season break” thing, but this season has been intense and I welcome it. I need a breather!
I fully believe the ratings for next week’s ‘Into the Badlands’ will drop sharply.
Now that people aren’t hanging around to watch Talking Dead, I think the number of viewers will drop off really badly for Badlands.
It’s not a “bad” show. But, I hate how AMC is using The Walking Dead as a cheap way to boost ratings for new shows.
Glad to see Im not the only one annoyed at Badlands time slot placement and forced advertising.
Putting that extra Walking Dead scene in the first commercial break for Badlands was a cheap move.
To me, all it says is AMC arent confident about Badlands if they had to sandwich it between 2 of the highest rated shows AMC currently has.
Ratings will surely plummet in the following weeks.
They did the same thing with “Better call Saul”…and just like they did then, after ‘Into the Badlands’ first episode they were super quick to do this whole “Highest ratings for a new show ever!” crap.
Well, of course you get the highest ratings for a new show when you play it after the highest viewed show on TV. And specially when you make people wait 20 to 30 minutes for the first commercial break to see the preview for next weeks Walking Dead.
And, what’s worse, Into the Badlands isn’t a bad show. It’s actually okay, nothing great… but entertaining. The fights are cool, and the setting is interesting. But they are missing serious beats when it comes to writing and characters. I’m finding it hard to care about any of them.
