I hope the game wont end up being a dud. Same goes for the movie.
I found the game Rage to be really fun and they are pretty similar. They could take some pointers from it.
Rage was fun.
Right untill the last mission. Ending was dissapointing but the fact that there was no end game killed it for me.
Anytihng with no end game makes me not want it. Except Bioshock.
Metro for me.
And other story heavy games. But in general I like having end game.
It was worse than that. Once you beat the second to last mission, the subway town races and some of the minigames there where permanently locked out. I kept a savefile that had that mission active just so I could play around unhindered.
Still havenât beat Last Light. Need to redownload it actually
Shame really. Nevermind the fact that it was marketed as a âBorderlands killerâ.
2033 Is better imo, despite being poorly optimised and buggy. And honestly, its re-release removed the charm the first game had going for. LL is still a great sequel though.
Yeah I loved RAGE until the ending, Iâm pretty sure they must have run out of time/money because the final level is so pathetic, it just became a corridor shooter with 1 enemy type.
Then once you beat it, youâre stuck, if you press continue from the menu all you can do is go from last checkpoint to the ending. All the side missions/mini games etc⌠gone.
They give you a new gun for the last mission, but itâs not suited for those enemies and you canât take it anywhere else.

And the worst thing was having the best suit behind dlc, together with a double barreld shotgun and another vehicle. And the DLC essentially just changed a few â0â into â1â when downloaded.

Its great that 4A managed to polish 2033 but if you ask me, the clunkiness the original release has felt almost intentional since Artyom is supposed to be inexperienced.
Donât forget those badass gloves that gave you blade fists.
At least the Scorcher dlc was decent. The Nail Gun was pretty versatile.
Tssk, a real hero doesnât need to fancy gloves with blades attached. ;p
