They just wanna party like the rest of us
Thereâs a comic book on my shelf called âThere goes the neighbourhoodâ, which is the history of Canada seen through indigenous eyes. Pretty depressing, really.
Why is all this happening in the âWhat made you happy threadâ anyway?
Oh yes, Canada = POUTINE AND MAPLE SYRUP.
Thatâs happier.
This forum is spontaneous! GIVE INTO THE SPONTANIOUSNESSSS
And a thingy on the whole canadian seal thing.

It´s not so bad. Though I met people online who thought we have no fridges or cars and that dragons live hereâŚ
Iâm fully moved into my new PC.

Nice! Iâd give you a like, but I ran out for today. Youâll have to make do with this:
Edit: Got a few likes back, so⌠duly liked!
You guys throw your love away.
Most days youâd be right but there was a lot to love today
And a Monday at that, huh
I missed most of it
Stuck on a train marking exams and begging for death
Did you ever get around to a booze excursion?
Death, you say?
OMG the perfect clip! I feel bad for saying I donât like marking because I feel honoured to mark studentsâ efforts on an individual basis, itâs just when you have a massive stack of papers and 3 days to get through them all the panic and the drudgery sets in⌠and the increasingly desperate attempt to find synonyms for the word âperceptiveââŚ
Settling into my second bottle of wine, wishing I bought more sugar
After about a year of internet issues with my gaming PC, I finally solved it today. The solution? Ditch the wifi adapter and BUY A FREAKING 50 FOOT ETHERNET CABLE!
I swear wired stuff is always better than wirelessâŚ
It really is so much more stable, and often faster too! Congrats
When someone says theyâre having issues with on-line play, my first question is usually âwired or wifi connection to your router?â
Originally I didnât want to because a normal length wire would mean drilling a hole between walls, and thatâs a pain in the ass. Eventually dad said âjust buy a 50 foot cable.â
I had to gut and rebuild the room in the basement when we moved in, so itâs got a full Cat-5e network to a patch panel where the router sits. Got the 360 (and now the XB1 also) fully hard-wired. Itâs nice.
you can get cables through plugs (I would describe that much better but I am tipsy)⌠powerline adapters? they use your wiring as an ethernet cable. itâs not as good as a straight to ethernet cable but mine does up to a gigabyte, and itâs still better than wifi for me.
the 50ft cable works too of course!
I am using power-line adapters too. It works like a charm.
