Yet…
Steak turned out better than usual, still really miss having a butcher around though.
Got a Helix Fossil in Pokemon White (it’s a 1:8 chance), to my own surprise. And out of brutal sheer luck, my whole team got a very rare (I believe permanent) boost to EV’s.
That’s Pokérus, or Pokémon virus. It is temporary, but spreads very quickly. Bring a monster out from one of your boxes, infect it, then put it back away. Pokérus will never fade from a Pokémon while it is in storage, so you can use it to spread the virus again later if you need to.
John Oliver back on TV tonight, and for once I’ve remembered to return some library books on time.
According to Bulbapedia, they get cured, but the buff stays.
Edit, direct quote from the wiki, feel free to take it with a grain of salt.
No, that’s how it works. Got PokeRUS on my Emerald back in the day, and recently with Sun. I’d advise the same things Irish did, the stuff is deadly useful if you ever want to EV train future pokemon. Easist and fastest way to spread it it to give your lead pokemon a smoke ball and just run away from wild encounters for a bit, each battle is a roll for infecting adjacent pokemon in your team. Do that a bit so you have some infection vectors saved for later.
I’ve been catching trash pokemon and infecting them, then sending them off over Wonder Trade. It’s like I’m playing Plague Inc.
Already done so, my party all have Pokerus, and there’s atleast one in the box that has it aswel.
They should operate the same system that’s in Fallout 4. If you find an overdue library book, you can drop it into a machine. You get a special token for each book returned, which you can then spend on health, ammo, grenades, etc. Imagine if you could take a stack of books back late and be financially rewarded for it!
Kept reading that as “Polkaroos”, which would be multiples of this… thing:
Now I just need to find a great big pair of polka dot shorts and I’m all set for a bout of nostalgia!
That would be wonderful! I’ve accrued about £80 in library fines since starting my PhD (although I suspect some of that is document supply costs). It’s still a lot though

I feel about polkaroo the same way Hattie feels about Alf
Noted.
Weakness detected. files away critical information
Looks like stuf straight out of a nightmare.
Was that broadcast in the US? I totally don’t remember that.
It’s Canadian. TVOntario I think. Watched it when I was a kid.
