Actually got my webcam working on Linux! I had to download the driver manually and then run it in Wine, which I didnât expect to work, but it did. Huzzah!

Now you may be thinking whatâs this part got to do in the happy thread well, my day started off with a series of phone calls, mainly about work. I was told to call my agent at the temp agency this morning at 10am sharp so I get like four hours of sleep and call them. The receptionist tells me sheâs in a meeting⊠ok, fair fair, just I wonât be relying on them anymore for work which is a great thing. Theyâve hindered me in so many ways. Get me lowly factory work yes but not build on my career or already available skills. I know Iâm a nothing to them thatâs why they send me to this â â â â . If she doesnât call back, Iâll just continue the search myself, they donât owe me any money so â â â â them and that feels so good to say that. I wouldâve liked to say it to their faces but I donât want to waste the trip.
I have a couple places in mind and with reassurance from the partner, Iâm above them anyways which made me feel a little better.

Lol! Honestly Iâm not very good at it at all, I try and get a vague sense of what I need to do but I basically just prod stuff until it works. Iâm about at a Claptrap level of hacking.
