Just gotten a diagnosis for my Dad: pericarditis. Very likely from a disease. Definitely not a mini heart attack. Thank goodness. It’s treatable with medicine, and he and my Mum may still be able to go on holiday to Greece in just over a week.

My Dad’s just been discharged. He and my Mum have decided to cancel their holiday to Greece. They’d rather play it safe and stay home. I’m just glad he’s OK.

Stayed up until 6 this morning making a really cute Unicorn cake for my granddaughter Zelda’s 6th birthday today. It’s the first time I have hand carved a cake and I’m really proud of how it came out. My daughter-in-law helped with the frosting and piping. We are really proud of it. Zelda hasn’t seen it yet, we are about to go over there now. If she likes it, I will recreate it for her party on Saturday.
