what pissed me off today: the fact that I just now realized that instead of releasing borderlands 3, a game genre they are good at gearbox decided to waste time on making battle-born and getting into a genre thats so saturated with competition that it would be hard to succeed…especially when there was no marketing for the game whatsoever.

■■■■■■■ terrible day, to sum it up:

  • I’m slowly getting my old sleeping pattern back, which means sleeping from 7am until 1/3pm, if I sleep at all.
  • People who cannot adhere to traffic laws.
  • Forgetting the shopping list, and finding that out right as I was about to enter the store.
  • For the second time in about 4 months they decided to do away with products we buy in a regular basis.

I wish I could.

I didn’t have trouble learning BL1’s lootsystem, and after 2 years of barely playing I stil remember the whole list of rules on parts, what they can spawn with and what not. I can also rather easily pick up new languages. But things like that? My brain will simply draw a blank.

Fighting is rather dull in ME1 imo. Exploring too…

The best part of ME1 for me is that Saren and Handsome Jack have both the same german VA.
Laughed to tears in almost every Saren-scene.

I dont dislike exploring with the MAKO, even if it controls like a hot-air balloon weighted down by wheels. But the combat really is blandy Mcbland.
But the writing does make up for it, why I do manage to soldier on.
