I hated the MAKO in ME1. That was the only thing I didn’t like about the game.

That and the elevator are my least favorite things in that game.

Don’t get me started on this. Navigating the Citadel is a test of patience.

ME2 was the best, though planet scanning…ah, not so much. You’ll see.

I already gave up on ME1. Again. Progressed slightly more than the last time but the combat emptied the last bit of patience I had. Shame though, because the lore is interesting.

With that happening, I cant justify playing ME2 on grounds of continuity.

It’s my favorite too.

I found this relaxing. I did it for far too many hours.

I would say just tough it out through 1 because the story and characters in 2 are worth it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly? If I do I rather skip 1 entirely. Even if it means making my ME1 save worthless in regards to events.
For now, I’ll be playing Painkiller.

I guess you could skip it. I don’t know how it is on pc, but it was pretty cool carrying over the save file/choices into the subsequent games. There’s a few characters in 3 that have pretty great interactions if you made certain choices in the first one, but it’s nothing life changing. 2 definitely is worth playing. The intro alone was epic.

finally decided to use my prime video feature, and i can’t ■■■■■■■ download onto my computer. Apparently they have a separate program for that, unbox. ok cool whatev. Nope. They officially deprecated it. for “piracy reasons” aka force us to use their ■■■■■■ player. I will find a copy somewhere. idgaf how hard they tried to bury it. And they tried HARD. The program hasn’t been invented that I can’t get a copy of.

I have developed this habit where I can’t enjoy my food without looking at videos or a movie or whatever. It’s an annoying habit. I have food right there, in front of me, on a plate ready to eat. But I can’t!

Recovering from ED’s is ass :’)

Did not realize you could recover from that.

Waking up, thinking it was 4:30 in the evening. Wasn’t until I was done rushing to get ready for some grocery shopping that I remembered that my DS’ clock is set an hour forward.

I somehow managed to give myself a rugburn by falling on a banister, catching my fingers between my body and the banister, and yanking them out. I’m honestly bemused as all hell.

Rubberband racing AI, combined with them bunching up behind you.

Hate depression. But it’s back again. Not going to elaborate. Hope that feeling wanes when I start to write or something tomorrow.

Seemed like yesterday was just outright out to get me.

Never hesitate to hit up my PM box if you ever need to talk.

Lately, invites/FRs and inactive piggybacks. Granted that it’s a problem with almost any online game, it’s been really prevalent on “Destiny” for me as of late. Here’s the problem(s):

  • ROSTER SCREEN: People can pick someone to invite/join. Hovering over ‘Join Fireteam’ shows their current status of activity and Fireteam’ slots. I also told a guy I was running with the other day that I’d just gotten invited from his full fireteam that it feels like “goddamned Pokémon” because folks seem to wanna get as many players as possible as fast as possible, and while they are likely doing this from the roster screen, bothering to check if they might be busy seems to be a bit too hard.
  • SESSION STATUS: Anyone can join a ‘Public’ session; ‘Friends Only’ and ‘Invite Only’ are self-explanatory; nobody can join a ‘Closed’ session. For ‘Public/FO’, invites are not required if you qualify to join.
  • INVITES (SEND): Randoms send them on first seeing someone, and both randoms and friends usually send them with little-to-no detail on what I’m joining. Got invited the other day, and only found out it was a raid after I’d dropped from orbit (=my fail for not checking the Roster); the one problem – I ain’t ready for raids…yet.
    • INVITES (SPAM): The invite lasts for TWO HOURS. In my case, invites aren’t necessary if the session is FO/Public since I do check the Roster screen (…usually) for available sessions to join; if I don’t respond, there’s a (usually) impersonal reason. If a friend invite-spammed me, they usually get deleted (NQA), of which I’ve done quite a few over the Christmas break. On top of that, it might not even be for the same game – I deleted one guy who kept sending invites for “Warhammer 40K: Space Marines” when I was busy playing “Borderlands 2” or “MGSV: The Phantom Pain”.
  • INVITES (RECEIVE): Because of the above, the response is usually “skip reading it, join the party”. On the other hand, folks actually bother to open/read messages. As such, I don’t send invites (unless requested), instead sending a message asking for help from anyone not in a full fire team or running Strike/Prison/Raid (to avoid distracting them).
  • FRIEND REQUESTS: I usually send them after having played for awhile with someone so that I may get their measure, not on first seeing somebody.
  • INACTIVES (PIGGYBACK): A problem as of late, folks just being carried through to victory – and they’re at the level cap. Easily remedied, but still…

Also, reporting via “Destiny” is easy, but by XMB/PSN is impossible since the option seems to not exist. I think I saw it maybe once in the last couple of years, which is problematic when I get invite-spammed or hatebombed.

Went to the doctors the other day. Learned I’ve gained some extra weight. Let down by this, I think to myself “how?” and continue to brood over it for the day.

…Then I made mac n cheese for dinner. After having eaten cheesy crockpot potatoes for lunch and suddenly it all makes sense.

I probably shouldn’t be eating like this anymore.
