Very minor but Marvel vs Capcom Infinite. Itā€™s been on nothing but a majority of my twitch streamers, I go on Youtube, itā€™s there. People are now saying itā€™s great but Iā€™m pretty sure they are being paid to say it thus the advanced copies. Say anything about a game thatā€™s mediocre and youā€™ll get free stuff. Thatā€™s the thinking here right?

I wonā€™t be getting the game for a number of reasons.

  • Outside of Jedah and a few others, the character roster is lacking. Everyone knows, even if you are not a FGC member, the roster makes the game.

  • The art style, itā€™s too I donā€™t want to say Disney cause thatā€™s kind of Overwatch and I like Overwatch but itā€™s too childish. Marvel vs Capcom 2 had hand-drawn sprites, I wish theyā€™d bring back that lost art.

  • Itā€™s going to become a Capcom, cash cow. Itā€™s what they do nowadays. Capcom, Bioware, name a ton of these different companies that will sacrifice quality just to make an extra dollar or two (by that I mean millions.)

  • The soundtrack is not greattt. The character themes seem generic as ā– ā– ā– ā– .

  • Iā€™ve played the story mode demo, the gameplay is clunky. There is some input delay even if you are playing offline. And Iā€™d say Iā€™m experienced MvC player so, speaking on gameplay, the combo variety seems to be all the same for right now. It could change but the first few months, we are going to be seeing the same ā– ā– ā– ā–  used over and over and over again. I highly doubt, Capcom would be stupid enough to do the same thing that they did with Street Fighter V. It would be sad to see if they did where two years down the road, the combos and mechanics are the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  same making a Marvel fighting game produced by them, really stale.

  • The stages. Currently they are eight or so stages in this game. Surely, they will add more but right now, your stage selection screen is rather dull. Youā€™ll be fighting on the same damn stage for a while. This isnā€™t a beta, this isnā€™t a trial, Capcom, this is a full release title. Add more than eight stages, each character should have a stage for ā– ā– ā– ā–  sake. But I know you donā€™t have the budget for it cause your business decisions of late have been ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  mind boggling.

Going to move over to Gmail, Microsoft stil hasnā€™t fixed that ā– ā– ā– ā–  with Outlook and theyā€™ve been a thorn in my side for longer already.

My brother who is unable to follow simple instructions and learn from past mistakes. He destroyed yet another garden hose with the lawn mower because he doesnā€™t check the yard for junk before he mowes. Itā€™s infuriating how lazy he is.

Two words: Dropped Opportunities.

Work. I didnā€™t get home until like 1-ish this time but that was due to me trying to get the Wonder Woman blu-ray, Wal-mart the only place really open in town, I went there and nothingā€¦, asked a manager (yellow vest) about it and they were like, "We are remodeling right now.) (so you drop everything? OK.) I went to Meijers next and it was ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  dead. I felt like I was in the apocalypse. Was literally the only one on the floor except the ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  cashier and it was kind of scary.

Made my docā€™s appointment around noon Saturday, came back home and died from exhaustion. Woke up in the evening to find a voicemail from my friend asking to give him a call ā€“ which Iā€™m not about to do at bloody midnight. Meant to call back Sunday, but my phone was dead and I was unawares. Plugged it in last night, got another call to the same effect. Finally sent a message back today, but running all over the place as I was, had to delay a real response till about 8p, as I detailed in a VMā€¦much to my luck. Figured he was gonna call back tomorrow, but much to my bad luck, he called back while I was running the Elders Challengeā€¦and right before he went to bed. So he said heā€™s going to bed. :angry:

Sometime before starting the Challenge, tho, I checked my inbox to see if Iā€™d missed messages from anyone ā€“ and found this from SPF:

I recently found out that my boyfriend wasnā€™t nearly as committed to our relationship as I was at the start. He said I ā€œgrew on himā€.

I feelā€¦ Humiliated. And foolish.

And I find myself doubting anything we have.

He acted like it was no biggie.

But after he had also told me he thought marrying me would be ā€œtoo seriousā€, it sure as hell feels like a big deal to me.
