It’s supposed to be my first day on the new job but I have been up all night with a stomach bug. I am not even sure if I should try to drive to the place because I don’t to have to throw up in my car or at the job site itself.

Could also be nervosity.
A situation I wouldn’t want to be in. Something that truly pisses someone off! I would probably had tried to go no matter what but I’m not known to make the smartest choices in these situations.

I forced myself go in. Managed to make it the day without losing my lunch so that was nice, but I felt dizzy most of the day. Hopefully I am over this bug tomorrow and can be myself again.

Last night was interesting. Got home from work to find the power was out, while the neighbors seemed to be ok. Toddled around the house, scrapped my plans for the night., got something to eat, and prepared myself for a night of book-reading by flashlight. Turns out I went to a neighbor’s house instead, and when I left the driveway I noticed the downed wires on the street.
It was an unusually windy day, so I assumed a branch took them down. Called the sheriff’s office, reported the wires. Turns out that it probably wasn’t wind, but an extra large vehicle that caught the wires while driving by. Sent a power surge through the house that fried some things.
I lost a boombox(which turned out ok since I had a spare), and mom lost the dvd player(we had a spare again). She did lose her record player, which is a damn shame since it took her so long to get it together.
Heating’s out too, that’s the real one. Pretty chilly in here.

went to a fair. Hotties everywhere. With their kids and husbands. Not a single mom as far as the eye could see.

For self, various mental struggles, got a rainbow platter of negative moods going on right now. On a work trip then followed by a brief holiday starting tomorrow, hopefully getting away from things will give me a bit of relief.
