Oh god! I had a red bar fight with orendi… I killed myself a couple of times…
You see, i like to jump in the middle of a minion wave to nullify but it didnt work and i landed in the middle of 5 minions and couldnt get out.

Oh yeah. The number of times I’ve Lunged upward to escape from being body blocked, and absolutely nothing has happened… though I almost always escaped anyway with frantic Air Stall and sliding, haha.

You rarely see people rubber-banding in this game; that all happens client-side, so it just makes it look like we have poorer reaction times or sometimes inexplicably don’t use our skills.
If you thought I was smooth then, I wish you’d see me on green bar.

It’s the lag that stops me, honestly. I’d still play Mellka now. (I haven’t even tried her with the extra gun damage!) But switching to other games has reminded me what it’s like to not have to fight against my connection.
And playing with you guys pretty much guarantees me red bar, so there’s no way to win

Sigh… (bored tone) I’ve said it before, but i guess i’ll say it again… No one has the right to restrict others ability to play the game that THEY ALSO PAYED FOR. I don’t care if YOU are losing every match because of new and low-level players, because YOU have the choice to play alone. Restricting others for your “quality of life” is NEVER the answer…

The last nerf they (Isic, Miko) got were in July. There have been many balance patches in between.

It may not make sense to you. But that was a major complaint. Especially when failing on a defense point means potentially 40 minutes lost

Semantics, and meaningless at that. They still reduced her venom and harassing to nothing
Her melee is still too risky unless you’re really good, and then her gun deals more. Then, an actual melee character could just do better as the major advantage of a gun is not having to get close
He can land crits very well. He seems to have a very natural flow, which is good for melee. Easier to hit than Eden but stronger in very close range, likely due to lag. They’re very evenly matched, so I’m not sure who I could say is stronger

Unfortunately, for those of us with a history of video game addiction, it kinda is. If I play for one match, I’ve got to play ten - can’t help myself - and then I’m miserable at the end, because red bar Mell isn’t fun anymore. And no, I can’t just play a different character.

You actually do less damage the worse your connection gets, because the server “drops” your hits. If I measure my DPS on a red bar connection, it can be a good 5-10% lower than what I get on green bar. Sad!
