You run into lag problems that way though. if you want to play with another country, use a proxy or VPN

Hell no. The lag I get with russians, Europeans, south Americans etc always ruins games. Play with your own region thank you very much

“Worst Ever” is a bold statement.
Did you ever play Gears of War 2? At launch that was the single worst matchmaking experience I have ever had and I hope to never approach it again.
Whilst I agree that the matchmaking is not the peak of perfection and it definitely needs improvement, it is certainly not the worst system ever.
I don’t mind that I’m playing with others in my region. My issue is more than when one person drops out during matchmaking, instead of only finding one person to join the game, you have to find another team again! There might be a reason for it, but it can be highly frustrating.
I don’t mind this as much, but others have complained that the matchmaking makes team levelling uneven as well.
Then there’s also the issue of if people leave, then teams are at a distinct disadvantage. Although that is less to do with matchmaking and more to do with sore losers, poor connections etc…
Although having people join/be matched to an already open game would help. But I understand that it would be totally rubbish to be put into a game already going on, if you’re added to the losing side. So I don’t really care about the matchmaking side of this one.
All I can say is that there are issues that everyone perceives, some will be fixed and some won’t. But wording of these issues should be constructive, as that enables the developers to understand the issues and fix them if possible.
gbx haven’t enabled the full skill-based matchmaking system yet. Do hold back on any judgement, please.
