In that video Ghostrobo said he’s played that section 3 times at e3 and 7 at Comic Con. So I rushed to his YouTube channel hoping he had vids of all 10.
Sadly he did not.
He also seems to be the only youtube person to record their own footage, all the others just use the stock footage from 2K.

If you watch this video, the Battleborn do talk to each other and she’s the only female on the team. (comprised of Rath, Montana, Oscar Mike and Miko.) Adding to this, her real name is Teshka (via the Battleborn site), the Eldrid could be based on Eastern Europe and Asian countries. Look at Mellka, Miko and Boldur.

Did you guys know thorn used to be a pet class character. her ultimate ability used to be her pet dog/wolf ‘Scalewolf’, “a lightning fast canine companion that hones in on and devastates targets.” (from Game Informer Arcticle)
I wonder why they ditched it, it was probably op.
I asked a very similar question in another thread. It was ditched, I’m conflicted about it. As much as I hate pets in game, it seemed really cool.

I must agree with you i am not a fan of Zer0 but i am really excited about thorn personally i dont think she is a sniper class i feel like you must stay back a little but she will be more effective running around and causing havoc than just sniping away.
Zer0 never really peaked my interests because every time i tried using him i never found any abilities that i found really fit my playing style
Ah, the Scalewolf.
One of those things that we just ran out of time to land at the quality bar we wanted. I think even as late as last fall in the first Story mission demo, you could see Thorn release her ult burst as a spirit version of the wolf. We pulled that back to it’s current state due to technical reasons.
Pets are awesome, but technically a pain in the ass. Doesn’t mean we won’t ever try them again, but for now…Thorn has to be awesome in other ways.

Hmm, the bow needs more impact. If your bow has a 60 lbs draw weight, you should not only hear the arrow but have it have some sort of impact. Like you pull back, it’s really harsh on those fingers, let it go, a sonic whistle and then CLAP. That’s what you need to think of. Other than that, I’ve said it before, I want to play it, I’ve been waiting very patiently and I love whomever you got for her voice actress.

Before @sunro posted this, the majority of Thorn gameplay I’d seen was of her following the group and getting all up in it with them (from a safe distance ofc). Towards the end of this vid, though, the player took on a small group of Varelsi on her own for several rounds of spawning before Phoebe came to help out. I know the cooldowns are way down to give people a better feel for the abilities, but it was nice to see Thorn holding her own without any backup, even if only for a little while.

Watching it now. Thank you again Mars. I’m wondering what is the loot system in the game? Seems like everybody has a default weapon that just gets stronger so it’s not going to be Thorn gets a new bow, or Rath gets new blades. Just seems like the chest hold currency and health/defensive items.
I also feel like if I play with @0takumetalhead I’ll be hearing Orendi’s voice a lot. Not that, that’s a bad thing.
I need to gett used to it myself. But I can live with it.
As for the loot, characters will have skin customisation, some change stats or something. Atleast, if I remember it correctly.

The Loot is Battleborn is called Gear. These work kinda like the Borderlands Class mods. During Gamescom Gearbox talked a bit about Gear.
Yes default weapons you won’t be seeing Montana shooting a bow & arrow.
Boxed contain ‘pickups’ like; restore health or shields, faster movement, faster cooldown etc.
Skins / Taunts can be unlocked by leveling up a character
