I play Thorn mostly like a sniper hitting charged shots (basically similar to Hanzo in Overwatch) and do a lot better than the arrow spamming kangaroos you mostly see.

Sadly, to the vast majority of thorns on console, thorn is a "green ball"er. Sheā€™s a sniper early game, or tries to be- killing an occasional minion or Montana. Then comes rank 5, and those ā€œthornsā€ come alive, taking out any assassin, brawler, support with push of the button, most often stealing kills from their teammates. For the effectiveness of blight with dot and slow, its too large an aoe, says kreshnek. Maebe a late upgrade to increase size is appropriate, but a base trait shouldnā€™t cover an entire lane, should it?

Well, my playstyle with Thorn is before I get to lvl 2, Iā€™m usually at the high spot in Overgrowth trying to snipe enemies with my charged shot. As soon as I hit lvl 2, Iā€™ll grab fell wind, and play her as a long/mid-range skirmisher dancing around. Fun and op! No one should be able to catch up to you UNLESS you get cc-ed!
