Construction, eh? Well, here’s one I’ve recently finished:
It’s a 3D printed replica of the Last Word from Destiny. Paintjob isn’t quite perfect but I’m bloody proud of it all the same.

OOoo shinies! Painting wise, if you want to improve upon it, maybe a black wash to make all the little engravings and handle grip texture pop out more.
And 3D printers are pretty much constructor bot prototypes. Just wait until they grow up…

Yeah, that young lady and I hit it off really well (one of the most romantic interludes I’ve ever had in my life), but aren’t relationship material, so she’s calling it. It’s the right call, but the loss of what had once seemed to carry so much promise really stings.
On topic - I’m constructing a nice farewell letter as I type this.

Today I cleaned up and organized the pictures, videos, and GPS data from my trip to Japan into a “presentation” of sorts. I’m having dinner at my traveling buddy’s house where some family and friends are coming over to officially check it out.

Ok, here’s a few:
We managed to find several groves of giant bamboo that weren’t fenced off in some park, so we got to walk, climb, and otherwise check them out. Big 'ol things!
The ride down (back up, actually) the cliff to this camp site was brutal, but given that the beach was completely uninhabited as far as we could see on either side, totally worth it.
I like how big the trees are that grow out of the side of the foundation of this castle.
This guy was night fishing with a lure that had a red LED in it, which I tried to catch in mid-cast as a red streak. This was at our first campsite which got flattened later that evening by some typhoon remnant (Chaba, I think).
This was the, eh, mascot for a little laundromat we used one evening.

I realise you probably have no choice in the matter, given the nature of your job. But could you at least sneak in a few NON-Christmas decorations? I am heartily sick of seeing Christmas stuff appear immediately after Halloween, and would be very happy it some of it was sabotaged in some small way.
