I straight bought Shayne’s taunt and in the first game with her had 14 kills and taunted 14 times (never do that) It is so funny! died twice because of it but who cares? haha. And personally I love ISIC’s skin. Yes his skull is important for taunts but if you have the turret taunt it doesn’t really matter for me to be honest

Most are crappy Halloween themed. Severely disappointing. I’m glad I had no intention of buying any, but still… I would have thought they’d have tried a bit harder to make more variety. It’s either skulls, zombie, or rainbow ■■■■ recolours
Thats so funny. I have his turret taunt and that is what made me notice the skull is still inside. Thats why i was upset. I dont think you need the skull per se, i think you should have the 8 bit skull act like a gif, and express various emotes. Think the way Attikus’ Runes light up during a taunt. Similarly, it could be that his emote smply changes in 8 bit mode

Marquis’ steampunk skin is top! I also very much liked Attikus’, Caldarius’, Rath’s, Galilea’s, Oscar Mike’s and Reyna’s skins.
I’d like Deande’s skin if they removed or altered her facial paint (some color adjustments would be good to - their combination is too aggressive), and Mellka’s skin if they removed the metal plate from her skull.
Too many dead/undead/zombie skins, I don’t like it at all.
As for the thread topic - definitely nah. I will buy all I’ve mentioned above, some taunts too, if they add them directly to Steam. But for fake “platinum” - no way.

I’d buy the Ambra skin if her cheeks and her bangs weren’t golden too. Looks silly.

I’d rank Toby, Reyna, ISIC, Montana, Benedict, and Galilea higher than you do.
I’d downgrade Phoebe, Alani, Rath, and Shamrox’s skin (not the taunt, that is AMAZEBALLS).
I’ve never played Attikus but I might have to just to use that skin, it is super cool.

The current skin for Caldi is a bit weird. I’ve heard some people say it’s supposed to be a race car, I can see anime mech too like you said, I’m just not quite getting it.

I REALLY like the textures on his body and the over-all coloring. Loving the way there appears to be flesh-like wood over green orbs/whatever things inside him.
REALLY like Caldarius too. I know the colors seem odd, but it works for me.
Also grabbed Rath (which I like OTHER than the bat on his chest) and Toby (just a solid theme for’em).
I do think Attikus has one of the best looking skins over all, with some props also thrown to Whiskey and Montana.
I DO think they should’ve bundled these skins with 2-4 color variations. So you get the new texture and say, about 2 or 3 other color combo variants (think League of Legends Chromas).

The only one I loved was Toby’s, actually. Reminded me of a W40k Chaos Dreadnought.

Yeah I think its based on nascar but that could just be me. What would made me buy the skin outright is if they would have done a Gundam skin, it was said Caldarius is based off of Gundam so a skin like it would have sold like hot cakes.

I absolutely LOVE Attikus’ new skin. It changes his glow patterns! So cool!
I also very much like Alani’s (also changed her glow patterns), Shayne/Aurox’s (that taunt, yooooooooo!), and Orendi’s skins, and got those as well. Orendi reminds me of cotton candy and summer, and incorporates her natural chaos into that motif.
I really like Caldy’s skin, too, though I don’t use him. It gives me more of an Iron Man feel, and I think it looks good.

If they put him in the classic red, white, blue, and yellow of like the RX-78 Gundam (or really any lead Gundam), super cool!

That is exactly what I’m talking about I would buy it immediately and use it always.
I think that would have greatly added to the overall value of them and people might have been more accepting of them overall if they introduced a skin pack, but honestly, 20 bucks american for 8 skins and 2 taunts? I’m not mad.

To the topic at hand, they changed the patterns on Alani and Attikus whixh makes them top tier imo. Shamrox( new favorite name for them! Thanks @jmorales20!) has a gradient effect that is a little off and more detail needed on Rox himself, but i bought it anyway, still looks great!
Orendi really just looked so out of character for me in that super, obnoxiously bright, new colors. Summer skin though, never looked at it that way. Thanks!

Not gonna lie, i spent a whole solo game as Attikus doing nothing but fawning over that new skin. Even got too excited and popped a full-charged ult in a room with no enemies before the Nix fight.
Honestly, i feel that obnoxious suits Orendi. She has a very loud, boisterous personality, and it makes sense to me that her wardrobe would as well.
