After your first sentry is destroyed, it shouldn’t be easier to push to the last. In its current state, enemies can build sentries in your territory, they get better minions, and they can just push right to the last sentry. Instead of having a harder time after taking a large blow back, it should be easier, with more defence to push the enemies back away from you base.
I agree, the enemy Team should not be able to build turrets when the first Sentry is destroyed. It’s everytime a pain to destroy all the turrets in your side of the map just to see them rebuild 2 minutes later.
On the other Hand, the time limit should then be increased to at least 45 minutes.
Maybe it’s better off the way it is right now. Sometimes my Team was able to make a Comeback ^^
This is a problem in every other MOBA I’ve ever played, too… just for different reasons in others.
The ability to destroy your enemies’ emplacements and then build your own where they used to be, RIGHT outside their home base, even… that’s a big part of the problem.
Another issue is that minions are WAY spongier and more dangerous than in any other MOBA. In the time it takes to hack your way through a single patrol of them, the enemy has had time to respawn, regroup, build emplacements, secure more elite minions, and go back on the offensive.
That is unless you waste your active skills to clear out the minion patrols in a hurry, but then you stand 0 chance of defeating any enemy player if you run into them, since basic attacks are pea-shooters and many skills reach instant-kill potency at high level with the right augmentations.
I think that’s one of the coolest things about the game. But if one team works together well and the other doesn’t, you will get decimated.
But…this is a team-based game. Isn’t that how it should be?
That’s just the thing, a team working and fighting together and getting high k/d scores SHOULD be able to come back from a slight disadvantage. Right now, that isn’t possible; Once the enemy team has more emplacements up than you and more minions on the field, they’ve guaranteed their victory.
Even if you take out the enemy players, It’s just not possible to kill any significant number of minions AND take out emplacements before they can rejoin the fight. And even if you DO take out the emplacements, they can just rebuild them instantly. If YOU as the losing team build over them, it’s much easier for THEM to destroy them because they’re fighting alongside an army of elite minions.
That’s simply not true. I’ve seen it done (watched a bunch of gameplay footage waiting for beta). They were premades, though, using voice com.
If you make it harder after destroying the first robot these matches could last for days. Oh wait it will probably just go to a what team scored better for the win (what i would hate because some teams can win without scoring better) . As it is now, it is easier after that first one is destroyed because it pushes for a quicker end to the match what is sometimes a welcomed thing for an uneven match, on the other hand if your playing pretty even with the other team one good sweep of their characters can mean game over for them with the 45 second respawn time.
