Whats up with them? They are in love? :smiley: Orendi loves Toby i know, but what about Toby? He has anything to say about this? :smiley:

I know this is a stupid question, but my girlfriend is so qurious, she really likes Toby.

I have all of Toby’s lore completed and, aside from a poem from “O.” (Orendi), wherein she prasies him, nothing else regarding Orendi is mentioned (aside from in one of Orendi’s own lore segments, where she says: “Is your name TOBY?! ACTUALLY your really cute. I won’t come for you, but i would like an autograph. Seriously, much love.”) I could be wrong, but i also don’t remember hearing any quotes Toby makes about Orendi while in gameplay. Reyna and Benedict, yes; but no Orendi that i can recall.

So, in conclusion, Orendi seems to adore Toby (and who can blame her?), but he ignores it.

Toby, like everyone else, fears Orendi. His cuteness is a curse.

There’s nothing i’ve seen or heard to suggest that Toby is afraid of Orendi; personally, i think Orendi really likes Toby because, like her, he is literally crazy. I mean, no where NEAR as crazy as Orendi, of course, but Toby’s craziness is apparent in his comments and lore. Here is an example:

A qoute that Toby occasionally makes while leveling up:

Toby: "Keep it up, Death Machine!"
Toby (in slightly deeper voice): "You got it, Toby."
Toby: "Death Machine, you TALK?"
Deep Voice: "I sure do."
Toby: “Wow!”

One could argue that this quote is a product of Toby’s loneliness, but the BELIEF in his voice does not sound fake.

There are also NUMEROUS qoutes (which i will post, if asked) where he says incredibly violent things (just like Orendi), and he is excited when he says them.

My theory is that, like Orendi, Toby has a split personality, where he acts submissive and apologetic on one end, and violently crazy on the other. The latter personality would no doubt appeal to Orendi, and she shows it. What does any of this have to do with Toby fearing Orendi? Well, history has shown that crazy people just don’t care, which is evident in both Orendi and Crazy Toby’s violently joyous comments. I believe you are half right; that “normal” Toby would be scared of her, but that when he is in his more violent persona, he would not be.
