Toby's "The Double-Hugs" legendary needs to be nerfed

My line of thinking was a 1530 Forcefield while the lvl8 helix gives you a bonus of 510(also making it not the obvious choice). 2000 would make it as effective as any other character holding a shield and a 35-40 second cool down would make it so it could only be taken down with concentrated fire and Toby couldn’t spam it.

Upon further consideration, i feel like changing Core Discharge to not have a movement penalty would be a fair trade-off. That would be a terrifying six seconds for the enemy. Make THAT his legendary effect.

How about life steal on 30-50% of damage to Forcefield or better yet all damage done by arc mine heals Forcefield

If were talking simple fix
Second mine doesn’t deliver CC only damage
And I meant 30-50% of Damage that enemies do to the Forcefield gets returned to Toby as health. Kinda like Boldur

I don’t think anyone would take The Double Hug for just the ability to have two mines, when they deal 40% damage. If it was an even 50-50 split, then MAYBE; but i have better gear.

As to the health restore via Force Field damage idea, it’s not bad, but very situational. I don’t know about most players, but i use Toby’s Force Field to buff his raingun, and so i usually have it out when i’m at full health; any accrued health would be lost with such a playstyle. I can certainly see the benefit of throwing it up AFTER i take a lot of damage, but I’d lose my damage, speed, and AOE buffs for my railgun.

Nothing needs to be nerfed about Toby. Not even his legendary. I’d think only a mass amount of players actually doing this equal to that of extreme kleese taser players, aside from just skilled players, can make it worth nerfing. But like many statements before mine, it takes actually choosing the stun first and actually landing them stuns. Even if you’re up against melee characters, its very possible to still miss. Toby is just fine. Besides, its not like every single person has or uses it anyway. If this were his ability through leveing and helix skills alone, sure, but it takes getting his legendary, getting it in game, getting to level 4, choosing stuns, and landing them most importantly.

Wait can someone clarify. Did they say they are nerfing orendi’s SFP damage and area of affect?

Since she specializes in AoE and Shadow Pillar is her thing apparently she won’t be hit. Or at least that’s what I gathered

I believe the rumor is that AoE’s are being looked at, and that their damage output will be reduced. Some characters have already had their AoE damage reduced (Like Thorns Blight), so maybe Orendi’s Shadow Fire pillar will be brought down as well.
