The Soulrender is actually really solid - while it lacks the top end of some of the other TG Assault Rifles, it makes up for in (in my opnion) in ease of use and overall fantastic handling and mechanics. After testing the homing skulls, I got a 12.5% chance to spawn per shot, each each skull doing 2x splash damage.
A well rolled Kinetic SoulRender will have about 23000 card DPS which when boosted by the red text effect goes up to 28750 DPS.
Compared to the other well rolled TG rifles, the Bekah has a low end of abut 10000 DPS, and a high end of 40000 DPS if you hit the sweet spot, The Sickle has something like 50K DPS, at the cost of really outrageous handling and recoil. The dictator and rowans call are both super situational, the former relies on getting up point blank in an enemies face, and the latter needs multiple sources of bonus elemental damage in order to perform well, and even then only in a situation with multiple enemies.
What’s great about the SoulRender is that it’s probably the most straightforward of the Top Tier Assault rifles to use. Just some food for though. Also, it can roll in Cryo, and with the addition of bonues elemental damage via guardian rank perks, I suspect that’s going to be the go-to element.
Finally, it’s probably one of the easier farms in the game.
Curious to hear everyones thoughts - As a basis of comparison, a well rolled Q-System at lvl 57 will have 16-17K Kinetic DPS, a Hellshock around 38K F/S DPS, a Linoge something around 30000 Fire DPS, and a well rolled Carrier with 3 additional sources of elemental bonus damage should do around 45000 Kinetic DPS, admittedly with a slight ramp up time to get to max damage, and only while the bonus elemental are in effect.
Edit: I will admit that I play primarily with Amara, so many not be seeing some synergies that you guys are, but still the weapon seems very good to me.
