Torgue DLC Death Race Tier 3 exploit using 2 cars

This was key for my runs.

With some practice it’s definitely doable with one car(and highest afterburner relic stats) , but I still get runs that are sabotaged occasionally.

It seems like a couple of certain places have terrain issues , so try to learn where they are aswell.(the ones that bump your car off track).

Good luck , its pretty satisfying when you can finally solo car it.

Not sure about without the relic though.

I meant to thank you for this video it is very helpful… I picked up some new skills from it… like the repetitive timing of when to use your boost (non relic) until my new zero gets leveled up to get me the lowest relic first… also the feathering technique you used with your boost made it available enough for jumps or scooting but it refreshed quicker especially for the last big boost on he final stretch… with (no relic) I can do this but always 1 sec before the line (fail)… if it is not the game fooling me into thinking it is the clock and not the game that is telling me nope… cutting into that first corner with the 2nd car maybe for 1 sec more looks very legit at least no invisible walls in my attempts … :slight_smile: The game is like this with challenges … you cant do it … you cant do it… then after you’re ready to say no more… then one thing that stopped you is gone and hey why is it easier now… it is known that the triggers in this game can be multi or stacked and not even activated until you are frustrated… wait I made that last one up…

The only time I’ve really hit invisible walls on that race were when I’d previously blown up a bike-sidecar, but the game for some reason had left its hit-box in place. There are some odd areas for sure, but as you can see the route I take generally avoids those quite successfully!

There is one thing i still have to look at… in the video I posted as the one I was trying to use I could cross the finish line with at least 5 to 10 secs faster (no relic) but it did not register it as a win… with the car placement in your video the change over must not save as much time (and I cannot test if it registers until I get the last second) not sure why the time difference 2nd car is only back a small extra bit … I am not a recorder so it will take a few runs to see where time is lost or gained… so more happy driving and it is absolutely giggles of fun… :slight_smile:

Try the barrel technical. It’s faster on the straight line than any of the others, although it’s bouncier.

Edit: these are not my times but the times of the two video recordings… compared (ish) we have a winner!

Method 2 has now been confirmed PS4 2018 (no relic) my take:

  • tip- putting car one under the bridge helps by making the menu choice to teleport you only have to do square, x, down, then x gained more time
  • tip: taking time to clear out the bandits if you hear them acting up on a practice run clear the route
  • tip: on the last corner before finish line if the bandits forced me to go left under the arch I beat the time still but it did not register the last check point and there is nothing you can do then to beat the clock.
    *note to self helped… if you hit that last air ramp at 20 secs left or better you are okay and can make the run fine… :oncoming_automobile::dizzy:
