Torgue dlc is lame

Also having to find 23 freaking eggs just to get Arizona to fight you (which is a terrible fight, by the way). I’m always missing a couple of eggs when I get to her and I have to backtrack to find the ones I’m missing. Seriously, why did it have to be 23 eggs? 10 would be more than enough.

Going back to the atmosphere, there’s something really yucky about the lighting in that DLC. It’s never neither dark or light and there’s that pukey green tint over everything all the time. I know a lot of people aren’t bothered by this, but I just find the atmosphere in that DLC very unpleasant.

I never got the skin from the rare monster mission. Where the hell I can get slagged baloons? Argh!

I like the Torgue DLC. Loot always dropped for me.

My favorite part of the DLC is the bar brawl and pyro pete. The repeatable race is neat. I don’t care for the boss very much though.

I guess it’s a matter of taste. I found the whole thing refreshingly different. Rare Monsters aren’t so rare if you grab the mission as early as possible and then just don’t think about it. As for the eggs. they’re fairly predictable as to where they’ll be. Voracidous though…

Too me when I first entered the crater, I felt like I stepped into bl1 just desert and more desert everywhere, that’s why BL2 was better there was more landmarks and things that caught your eye in the big open maps, in torgues there was just that arena. I think they should move away from having characters from the series hosting DLC just for the sake of giving them things to say, and if they do bring npcs in the mix make the dlc whimsical and fantastical, like dragons keep, and clappy dlc. Those things brought you too a world of BL you never saw before had you looking around like woah! I felt like I was on an acid trip(not that I’ve ever dropped acid).

I would love to see a dlc with two distinct sides to the world think shagaroth’s realm in Oblivion. Borderlands does pop culture references all the time so it would be perfect. I know people don’t want to see handsome jack again but think about it have 2 sides of Jack, one’s the old jack still good but has a little evil, the other side is completely evil the good half realizes he’s done bad things so wants you too help him destroy the world that evil jack created evil jack wants to keep it, and that would also bring about multiple choice missions where you get to choose what happens. It doesn’t even have to be jack it could be any BL character with a moral dilemma.

To be fair, I really like the story, the characters and the concept of a creature hunting based DLC. It’s the atmosphere, some of the visuals and the mission design that bothers me. I’m not saying the missions are difficult to complete, just that to me they’re mostly boring and needlessly annoying. But it is a matter of taste. I know a lot of people truly enjoy it and I don’t see any problem with that. Like I said, even I can appreciate the change of pace every now and then, even though I’m never eager to return to that DLC.

FWIW, Recently did the Piston battle in TVHM, Krieg, on PS3 and got nothing. I guess it is a PS3 bug.

Are there any other game play advantages with Xbox one or disadvantages with PS3?

Please check the date of the last post in a thread before replying - 2 years is well beyond the “best resurrected before…” date. I’m going to lock this thread now to avoid further necromancy. FWIW though, you’re not missing out on much from the missing Torgue DLC lootsplosion.
