It could be saved with some changes and additions (story would for ever be the worst ever haha)
M2.0 just made bad things worse
TTWL feels pretty good (let’s not get into the DLC) taking the good stuff from BL3, legendaries from 2 and made the (imho) best difficulty scaling in the franchise
I’m not saying it was bad per say, just that it was clearly not in good enough shape to release. What I did/could play when my console didn’t crash I enjoyed and it seems those issues carried over into TTWL.
As for M2.0, I have certainly seen the complaints for it but nerfs and buffs never bothered me as much as unstable console performance.
got the feeling being a beta tester in BL3 even now
knowing they finished this game during the pandemic, i feel it came a LOOOONG way from BL3…
though, yes i do agree with you that some/most problems where again pretty easy to spot right out the gate (spicy water and the vault UI taking for ever to load or not load at all wich still isn’t realy fixed)
could be me just being tired of being so negative about BL3 that i realy like this game
I’m old enough to remember when nerfs were called software bug fixes. Sounds like GBX is micromanaging this game to death already, under the guise of balance. People can argue if it’s good or bad. Go ahead argue, while you do I’ll keep my money in my pocket. For me the BL franchise died after TPS.
Nope, no argument here, I’m just having fun playing the game (still)… I’m also enjoying the hotfixes & look forward to what gets improved/tweaked this week.
I’d chat longer but Torgue wants me to meet him on the docks in Brighthoof for a jam session… TTYL
Yeah there’s still some interaction that work to well
That’s why i agree that GBX should have a PTR
BL3 was worse though everything felt untested and then it almost felt like they changed stuff and didn’t test the results first.
Then they wanted to balance weapons in M2.0 and just ignored everything but legendaries
They gave the streamers early access but would have been better to give them full access (moxxi and the others always find some way to break the game)
Don’t worry. The Fearnots will be nerfed at some point in time and the excuse will be “balance.” I hate the micromanaging going on with what could be a great game if only GB would leave it alone.
I just mean doing something
The cutless was there for an eternity dealing 20 times the damage of other guns and none bat an eye
They started nerfing stuff heavily after the yellow cake incident
The windup was probably the only trade off to exist at that time
But i think there is no common ground here xD
Well it was also moving slowly
Basically it was stronger than everything else but the least fun to use
you want to use insanely OP/broken guns to roflstomp the hardest content that’s there for people wanting a chalenge and doesn’t benefit you outside a higher droprate on guns having a minor increased stats (not even needed to reach said difficulty)
you realy want to 1 shot bosses? then play on chaos level 1 on easy… every gun (even green) will do tons of damage… or farm some chaos 35 and get some chaotic/volatile/primordial and then go back to chaos 1 and melt bosses by just loading the map.
everybody was saying how insane the liquid cooling was and how you should get it to reach chaos 20 with ease and not even trying to build around it. GBX just did what was pretty obviously needed
I want something to strive for. I never got a Liquid cooling when it was OP. I did get a lvl 72 Perfect Harold by farming the machines (and it took me forever.) I do like to farm and GB’s effort to “balance” (and the lack of TVHM) makes me not want to play the game now that I’ve finished a playthrough. They repeated some of the same quirks that we b*tch about often on these forums (no speech skip, the inventory bug, no real sort on the bank/backpack.)
