I don’t use it either since I don’t use guns on that character
I use the grave capstone as well

Yeah I haven’t done any other classes other than Spellshot and Graveborn so far because it looked like there were a lot of interesting synergies there. If all the other class interactions are this powerful also, I agree - this is excellent skill tree design. Lots of interesting synergies on Graveborn and Spellshot.

I love that the choice of these two feels impactful to gameplay and neither one really looks to be correct for 100% of players!

I eventually wanna futz around with spellstab, and see how fun that stabbo cap can be

Honestly I have been avoiding spoilers, I haven’t looked at any gear or skill guides at all yet. I am just playing with whatever I discover and having quite the good time with it so far. I have heard that the Stabbo-Spellshot and the Stabbo-Spore are good also though.

If you haven’t seen an Automagic pistol yet - it’s really dope. The Reign of Arrows is also amazing, especially with the War Caster skill, I have fired the ROA six times in a row without reloading. Really powerful.

Deadshot is a powerful combo and reminds me of a Timothy/Zane combined with Moze.

I’ve done a little looking around, but I find the game to be far more enjoyable if I don’t pay super attention to what anyone else is doing. It feels way more fun than I actually expected, and that’s enough for me :joy:

I am at the point now where I look up drop sheets to check for items that benefit my builds but it’s definitely fun to play through the story and just using whatever drops

I had very little expectations for Wonderlands, and the little expectations I had, I will admit were not great. But so far Wonderlands is dope and it’s obvious there is a ton of gear and options that I haven’t even seen.

The biggest thing I appreciate so far is the difficulty progression through the Chaos levels. There needed to be some challenge in BL3 and they screwed that up after Mayhem 4 when the MTD first released. It’s not just “enemy health bloat” difficulty - it truly is difficulty in design (even if the Chaos Chamber admittedly is kinda repetitive).

The spicy water needs to go though! Terrible design carryover from BL3.

Other thing I don’t like - the controller layout where if you pick the more “classic” BL setup, you can’t refill ammo or make Chaos encounters Elite. Really dumb.

As someone who actually enjoyed running Athenas over and over, I can say I enjoy the encounters vibe a lot, but understand others finding it repetitive.

The amount of times I kill myself with water and or barrels remains obscene

I found a good meteor spell this morning that also has singularity. This on my new character, a sporewarden. He will likely end up + stabbo because I have a legendary item for that combo (those classes both mentioned on it).

At some point though I need to build a double companion centric character. Maybe my graveborn started char should.

I also tried sigil this morning. The buff is a welcome improvement. They are worth using now. A damaging Sigil + a singularity would be great.

No doubt. Love the spells.

Stabbo has the classic stealth/invis skill. Brrzerker’s jump attack makes his melee more valuable by bringing him close to an enemy and causing damage. Spellshot’s first action skill is like “phaselock” but as a sheep. The arrow blast from sporewarden seems pretty good. Graveborn’s first action seems decent and his second is a little Krieg like. That’s most of what I know so far about the skills.

Huh? I altered my controls in very odd ways and I can still do those things. Wonderlands threw me for a loop and it’s making me rethink controls on all FPS games now. That and sore thumbs from pushing in thumb sticks. My dpad L goes to first weapon. Dpad R goes to third weapon. Dpad Up goes to next weapon. Dpad Down toggles weapon to alternate fire. Push in left stick for duck. B button to run. y button to melee. Right bumper for action skill. Left bumper for spell (or grenade in other games now). Push in right stick to ping. X use. A jump. Right trigger fire. Left trigger scope in.
edit: I miss BL2 hold weapon switch button feature to show your 4 options

Agreed. And I also haven’t touched the spellshot capstone either. Graveborns is my favorite kind of gamechanger skill. I think it first showed up in the pre sequel. (activate all kill skills when you do X)

Favorite a blue with Fire and Dark Magic Calamity spell

Running a Deadshot. Using a Chaotic dark magic Calamity with a gravity pull effect. Spam a high damage Triple Ice Spike into the mess for lots of kills. Set up everything to proc off of spell cast, which is near constant with the spell cooldown regen boosts in place. Pretty sweet so far.

Is it just me, or are most Legendary spells subpar? Most purples have better damage and effects.

In many ways I’m ok with that. It seems like there are far more purple variations worth using, yes. I find most legendary spells to be gimmicky, so far. In BL3 I felt like it wasn’t worth using any purples. In Wonderlands I’m finding that I like a lot of the purples. I like that purples feel relevant. It feels right.

It feels wrong to me. What’s the purpose of having legendaries if they are often worse than epics? I can understand them being slightly better or being the same but having unique effects. But being nearly universally worse outside of a few examples feels bad.

Will juat lead to people only using a handful of legendaries at end game. Kind of like B2.

The basic gist is that legendary gear has a gimmick. This is neat on guns, where the parts really just offer slightly different flavors of the same weapons. A gun gimmick is an absolute game changer. But nades/spells/stat stick attachables? Those don’t benefit from fixed parts the same way. And when the options for purples are to triple roll the best part? Few legendary concepts are gonna out power that. But, if you’re not trying to maximize power, you’ll probably find a gimmick fun to play with and build around.

Try scream ward amp shield.
Ring 100% effect after damage boss and mini boss
While health is full ring and enchantment. Anyone know those can work with mantle?

Any Calamity, Frostburn, and Impaling Ice Spikes have been the most fun for me. Love the finger snap on those spikes.
